Hello!
I'm afraid I havent been at esato for a while, but its time to buy a phone, so I'm here. I just needed ur advice on getting a new phone. I have some priorities when getting a phone though:
Bluetooth
Megapixel camera (at least)
MP3 player & Radio (optional)
I was looking at Siemens SL65, Siemens S65, Nokia 7610, and the new SE phone.
Anyone have any tips? Any preferences? Which one is better. I need a small phone.
I prefer a Symbian phone but Siemens SX1 doesn't have a megapixel camera, and the Nok7610 is not all that great.
Please help me out here

hi there! if you can wait, go for the S700. but if not, a k700i would be great. if you want a non-SE phone with camera, i heard that the nokia 7610. Cheers and have a great day.

The K700 isn't a megapixel camera, you should have a look at the S700, his design is much better than the 7610 and so will be the screen.

I think S700 has the best 1.3 mp camera of all gsm devices. So, if camera is priority you shoul buy this one. Would also love if this phone would run symbian.

Wait for the Motorola MPx220. I have my eyes on that. I'm also keeping an eye on the S700i... Its a tough choice...

I don't think that S700i will be a symbian phone, will it?
On the other hand I would get the k700i now (which I did
) and then wait for the F900.

No, s700 wont be symbian, but i heard it will be able to launch *.sis games.

The s700 is the only one with a CCD sensor and proper exposure controls, so there´s no doubt about which to choose...

Ok back to the topic -- is the S700 out yet? The phone looks ace from the SE website... looks like a proper camera!
Also, I'd assume it has mp3 --- which CAN be listened to over a pair of headphones??
I wont be too worried if it doesn't have Symbian -- its features look good enough.
Need some info about Siemens S65 too please. Basically the same questions apply to this phone as the S700.

1 s700 is still not out. :-(2. Pair headphones come with phone in box3. Dont buy s65! It has stupid screen, camera lots of gaps like unable to play mp3 as ringtone.

OK so to let u know I eventually ended up with a Nokia 7610. It was the only good phone that met my requirements that was actually available in the market. I'll probably get a S700 when it comes out, but I reckon thats gonna be for a while. So in the meantime I shall chill out with my new phone. Thanks for all the replies. Thanks!

@ewap8 - I used to have a Nokia 7610, but decided to let go and buy me an SE K700i last July 24th. The 7610 went into my hands for just 2 weeks . . . making a 'point-to-point' comparison, the K700/i outshines the 7610, and with all the bugs and poor battery life of that of the SE K700i - I guess I manage to be immuned with it for the past 2 months now, still have to upgrade it's formware mate! The SE S700 will definitely be a good choice to buy!

Yup! The only reason I didnt get the K700 is coz it didnt have a megapixel camera. Camera is my first priority!

If u want the best camera the choice is S700! Have a look at http://gsmarena.com and read the article comparing S700 and nokia7610, pics of S700 are better!

Yeah and the price tag goes up to 700 euros if we're lucky. I think i'll wait until it comes to stores to see the price and if it's more than 500,i'll get smtng else.
