Because people are always reffering to me as Lynx69 and it feels wierd posting when people say @lynx to me and woteva when ive changed names. So it just feels right now

Natural tendency is to shorten people’s names, for the reason stated (by another immensely intelligent Geordie) above and as an informal almost endearing way. Like your mother only calls you by your full name (if multi syllable) when you’re in trouble.

Its entirely upto you. People will still call you meths so it wont make it any different. If you want your name to be the same as what people call you then change it (thats the reason lynx69 is back because when i was trigga people still called me that)
