error in get and send on p900

the error says "the pop3 server refused to allow a connection. check your mailbox username and password." i check my mailbox and password and they are correct. please help....

Has it ever worked on the phone? i.e. to prove the settings are correct?

If so, mine sometimes does that. It may just be a problem with your Network sometimes or may be if u've recently logged in to the e-mail account from elsewhere e.g. from a PC.

Wireless access might be restricted/busy at times. I had same problem. Sometimes I could get my e-mail quickly form my POP3 provider, sometimes I could not get it at all.

Are you subscribed to that provider's premium service? I once tried that with Yahoo and they refused connection. I immediately received an email from yahoo stating that I attempted to retrieve my email from somewhere else and it costed $15-20 for that service along with others.

If your on Orange there is an email server outage at the moment not allowing people to dial in to check their emails. Think its only on Orange.net though.
