And another one that i guess many of you already know it
If you hold the option key pressed at standby mode it connects to your homepage. Like a "quick WAP access key". I just remembered it and thought of sharing it with the ones who don't know this!

I just upgraded my T68m to R2E006. I noticed that when I'm writing an SMS, I can no longer "force" the cursor to move to the next space (for example, when typing "no") by moving the joystick down. Is there a way to type 2 succeeding letters (for example "n" then "o") without having to wait for the cursor to move by itself?

@penguin i agree that it is an important feature in t68m. Wish they bring it back in next fw upgrade

jag: Yah, I hope they put it back in the next upgrade. I'm sure a lot of people miss it.

Why don't you use the T9 function?

i will tell u a sms trick!
u know the volume button on the left hand side of the fone? well using this u can type fast sms.
All u do is push the volume button up to give u the second letter on that key... e.g push the volume button up and press 2, u will get b on the screen.
Push the volume key down and then push the text letter and u will get the 3rd letter on that button. e.g push the volume button up and press2 u will get c on the screen!
Check that out!
(u probably know it anywayz!)

Not to shabby HUGE it is a little faster doing it your way, just need to get the hang of it. How about a quick way to type period "." usually after every sentence? Anybody knows a trick for this?

again as Drago asked, Why dont you use T9?
Posted by khermin
Guys, do you know the diff between t68i firmware ver. R2e and r2b?
Posted by Pink Lady
When i type the word NO, 4 exmple, i type O first then shft d j/s 2 d left then type N. I dont hav 2 wait. But t9 is mor cnvenient 2 use. Ü

To tupe " . " fast is really easy. Just puch the option button followed by pressing the 1 button twice. When u get used to it, it's really fast!
Posted by Tan Hieu
I think it really easy to type in t9 and u can get the period with just pressing the # and then yes.
Posted by stlblues
Armin, That's what I also do. But there's gotta be an even faster way without using the T9 input. In nokia u just press #1 once. And the "." is the most common punctuation so why did they put it so far down the list pressing #1?
