You probably locked your sim card. Please call your operator to unlock it. You need puk code.
BTW. Welcome on Esato.

@lennydiane: Welcome to Esato!

Does any (error) messages show up? If so, what do they say?

@Elrond: If the phone is SIM-locked, doesn't one need the PUK code and not the PUK2 code? As far as I know the PIN2 and PUK2 codes are for special network services only.

[ This Message was edited as: Elrond changed from puk2 to puk in the text of his previous post. ]

for got to say that when i put my sim in another phone it works ok

Is your husband's sim on the same network as your sim?

Posted by lennydiane
yes it is on the same net work

Posted by Str1ker
When you say it "locks up", what happens, is there a message, or does it not start up at all?

Posted by lennydiane
it just freezes on what ever it is on

Posted by Str1ker
That is very strange, if it works the other way around, can't you have your husbands phone, and then he can have your phone?

Posted by bico
Ok, at least that eliminates the SIM-lock theory.

Does the problem occur after you have been using the phone for a while or does it occur immediately after turning it on? If it occurs immediately after turning it on, take it very easy next time and let it load and initialize everything before you touch anything at all.

Think only one good advice now - go to service center with ur phone and sim
