Using T637 as modem for computer.

I have it connected to my computer with a serial cable but I think I did something wrong with the settings somewhere. It sends the information to the phone and starts to connect but it says "invalid user id/password" ? Any solutions?

Cingular as my wireless provider and local company for ISP. ISP contacted my this morning and told me there are no problems with it on there end...
