Yah, Vodafone will bring the japanese technlogy to europe. Sharp GX30 was the first 1mp cameraphone in europe and the new sharp with 2mp camera also has a 2x optical zoom!

optical zoom on the phone is not like a lens is extending out of the phone, but works with rotating the lens inside the phone.
