FAQ - Esato archive

When is the FAQ going to be updated. Whenever we post on esato someone always chips in with"please read the FAQ first" however the the answer i want is very old on the FAQ. I want to know what the latest firmware version is on the T610. the FAQ states R3xxxx, however mine is R4xxxx. The FAQ is out of date. Also i've been told by my nearest service centre that there is a charge for an upgrade if there is no fault on the phone. I read somewhere on esato that it should be free. can anyone advise on this please. I think it might need flashing. I've had it 2 months from new. no probs until this morning when the phone would not switch on. took batt out, put new one in, nothing. put on charge, nothing. all of a sudden about an hour later it just powered up. anyone else experienced this?

the most update to date FAQ is the Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style) which is linked to from the Esato FAQ

I'd recommend using that one as its maintained by myself these days as I have more time than laffen to do such things
