BT have just upgraded the exchange in my area, I was wondering if you guys knew which ADSL ISP was the best?
I'm looking for a 512 kbps service with no download limits.
Thanx

I'm with a company called Griffin, and pay £23.49 including VAT - very reliable - there's been the odd drop-out, but usually rare, and no download limit.

You dont say which exchange you in, but anyway it depends are you looking for cheap and cheerfull or you dont reliablity?
I use Bulldogdsl and for 4Mbps its £30/month (You must be in Central London)
a cheaper option would be http://www.e7even.com/ at around about £16/month for 512Kbps

I use Demon at home, office and approx 20 of my customers and have had no problems.

Been with Demon for a couple of years, but just switched to PlusNet because they're cheaper for a better service, more web-space (250mb with CGI, PHP etc.) and much better customer services.

we've been using abc for the 2 years we've been in uk (will this contract ever end so we can go home!) and have had excellent reliability and excellent customer service on the couple of occassions we had an outtage.
its only 512kb but thats fast enough for what we do

Anyone here tried Bulldog DSL?
I've read a few reviews, they seem to either love them or hate them, nothing in between.

Sorry, this is the effect of too much sleep deprivation.
Can anyone tell me about contention ratios, cos I've heard that in bad cases ADSL is slower than dial up is this true?

@Linkinpark17UK - no worries, check terms and conditions with the service provider (most have it on their web site) Typically for my customers 20:1 with
