I just recently bought my k700i and took it into a T-Mobile shop to get a plan, but found out my credit history wasn't good enough, so I got stuck with prepaid. I went to the Ericsson.co.uk site and had the setting for MMS under a prepaid plan sent to my phone, but when I try to send one, it comes up with a communication error every time. I've heard T-Mobile doesn't want to deal with anyone who bought their phone out of plan, but I would like to get this up and running as it says I should be able to. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem with my pre-paid t-mobile K700i. Tried SE website MMS settings plus settings available at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/pmsettings. Neither worked as still received 'communication error' message upon sending picture text. Spoke to T-Mobile, who sent text MMS settings to me again. Still no joy. Spoke to (in exasperation!!) T-Mobile again, explained prob. We changed settings manually over phone, they'll happily ring you on a landline to make this easier.
Result: Can now send MMS no prob (received by recipient fine)
but cannot view MMS received on my phone. Progress, but still not right so I'll call them again when I can face it!
I'm convinced that the text settings updates from T-Mobile or SE don't change all the settings required as many definitely required further changes when amended manually. I'd post them, but I can't recall them all I'm afraid. So, I suggest call T-mobile and insist on manual update of settings. Hope this helps, I'll post again if and when mine's sorted.
