Hi guys,
I have a Treo 600 as my primary business phone and iniisip ko to get a an SE T68(i) phone sa Greenhills as my weekend/evening phone. Kaya lang ang feedback sa akin ng iba, mabagal daw ang software ng T68(i). Mahina raw ang SMS alert tone. I was thinking di ba pde ma-fix ng firmware iyon? Kasi I used to own an Ericsson T28s and ang lakas ng SMS alert tone noon.
Patulong naman guys, I am planning to purchase one of these days. Nasa mga Php3,500-4,000 lang siya kasi last time I canvassed.

I still have a 16 month old T68i with an R8A(Euro) firmware. I use it as a back-up phone.
Compared to newer phones, yes, it is slow. The SMS and ringtones ay mahina din. Nasa wish list din ng marami yung gusto mo, pero hindi din ginawa ng
.

@manoftrueGod - I guess the price you posted for the SE T68i is the one being labeled as 'reconditioned' units which were altered in China or perhaps even here in our country

You're better off buying a second hand phone from someone here at Esato vs. the GH units.

i have a mineral grey T68i which is hardly used and in perfect condition. i just keep it as a backup phone. joystick count is not even 7k. complete with box, manual, etc.
selling it for 5k since i have way too many ''backup phones'! if you're interested, you can reach me at 0919-403-9236.

Crackerjack, hmmm, mahina pala talaga ang SMS alert niya. So, lagi kayong naka-vibrate mode at laging nakakabit sa katawan iyong phone?
Kasi nilalagay ko iyong phone sa holster, kung mahina rin ang vibration niya, hindi ko siya mapapansin :-(
Hmm, bakit kaya ganoon ang naging design ng T68i? Naging best phone pa naman siya two years ago.

@manoftruegod - t68 is one of the best phones i have ever had, i know alot would agree. kumpleto na sya sa features at sulit sa price nya ngayon. 2lad ng sbe ni jplacson, its better getting a 2nd hand(original) one like wat senninha is selling rather than un nasa greenhills...

how can you tell the one you're buying is not a reconditioned unit? should I ask for the original receipt?

Well, after getting distracted by JN, wasting my cycles with his Moto, and several flip-flops by him, yes-no-yes-no, I finally decided to return to my original quest - secure a second hand T68i.
Guess what? I've got one from a nice lady at Php3.5K! And this is not reconditioned. However, I am no expert but she told me that the original ones have their numbers printed with the "CE 9999 (!)" in italics while the reconditioned units are not. Perhaps you guys can confirm this.
But, at that price, I guess I am happy to have a backup phone this nice as an alternative to my Treo 600 for evenings and weekends.
If not for JN, probably I would have considered senninha's. I also asked around how much is the T68i for a trade-in. The claim is that it can be traded in for Php2.5K.
