Then no, its not free. 10p per minute on Virgin via normal CSD dial up. I know they have launched MMS now on their network (finally) but I dont know if they offer GPRS Wap yet as well.

Doesn't they support GPRS Wap yet?! Other providers have supported that for ages...

Just buy a nok 6600 or se p800/p900 and use a o2 sim with no credit on ive had free gprs for 9 month and never toppd tp

And so why does he have to buy a nok or a 800?

Posted by Greggy
If u change the port to 80 or 8020 or 8080 u still gdt gprs to work with no credit

is that just o2?

Ive heard u can use vodaphone gprs with no credit with any phone but havnt tried it

completely depends on your phone provider and your wireless plan. Wap access would fall under internet access/options. Better check before you run up a huge bill.

Vodafone should have some pretty cheap offers. I use them both for wap and internet via gprs. Usually it's never free.

Since my provider (Digicel) here in Jamaica introduced GPRS (WAP) services last August, it has been free. But they gonna start charging soon I think...enjoying it while it lasts.
