I believe that Sony Ericsson should have a link to their sites that points straight to Esato.

Am not mentioning this for sponsorship/advertising reasons but because I believe Sony Ericsson should pay some visits to Esato to get information from us regarding how SE's customers want their phones or if there is a bug to let SE know about it. Or maybe SE to know what improvements can make to their next firmware.

Esato is a great treasure of information for Sony Ericsson to improve their models and to create the "ultimate" mobiles.

I know that already in the past Esato have send some suggestions to Sony Ericsson.

Who knows, maybe SE is checking Esato site every couple or days or similar but I believe if the department of Research and Development visit Esato site, like all Esatorians do, they will get plenty of good information for their company.

well, maybe we should mail them.. or take a call

Posted by BobaFett
According to @laffen's statement, esato is an independent site, so any kind of commercial support must be held to this fact. But i do like the idea, once i had a try here for the same reason.

We have all signed that suggestion letter and if I'm correct some things that where on the letter was added on the phones but unfortunately they must have seen the very few complains about the blinking leds and removed them, damn bastards who had to complain

This is not the way it should be done.

This has to be achieved from Esato officially.

Everybody can make a phone call or send an e-mail but to who?

Marketing and Sales Department can do something like that in order to do this "co-operation"!

Posted by BobaFett
Thats the point. Any kind of co-operation would make esato not independent. And se would do an own forum if it is, for example at fun and downloads. We, members, should support esato as we can. If se would need esato, they had made an offer already.

Posted by Merovingian
@boba: guess you're right there

Posted by energetic
But you can imagine the benefits for SE if they browse Esato and gather information.

Posted by BobaFett
Indeed, they visit esato usually, but its up to @laffen how he imagine the future of esato.

Posted by bico
One can think that SE should have links on their official web site to different forums like Esato. But probably SE wants to be independent, as Esato wants.

@bico

"One can think that SE should have links on their official web site to different forums like Esato. But probably SE wants to be independent, as Esato wants."

SE has handango links etc.

I believe it would be a smart move from SE to approach Esato or simply to listen to Esato voice.

Whatabout everyday call by any esatonian straight to their CEO? Bunch of funs trying to influence huge company. ;-) 4-5 months ago boba told me something like ''they do care'' So what do we need faster response on our demands or advice them?

Posted by BobaFett
I use the add of esato in my emails as signature. A paralell support by esato and se is the best solution, we can advertise here se, but i dont think se will do the same with esato.

Posted by Atlis
Man, I'm not sure, but I think they do. Damn... :-l I can remember, but I think, they advertise esato in their booklets included in boxes with phones. Hmmm. Gotta check it later...

Sony said : sorry.

Posted by energetic
@ninelives

"Sony said : sorry."

Posted by BobaFett
@atlis i newer saw that it in any se booklet and i doubt se has ever done it. Wish i could be wrong with it.

Posted by Atlis
@boba - unfortunately I don't have my box here to check it, but surely it was something closely connected wiv se. :-(

Posted by BobaFett
I checked my wich came with t630, but nothing written abou in it.

Posted by Atlis
Nothing about se funs site? :-l I must remember. Don't care about it...

Posted by Elrond
I remember, that someone here once said, that he had wap.esato.com as bookmark when he bought some brand new phone. Don't remember which one.

Posted by BobaFett
Hm... @laffen should have to know about it and if it is, he had report it.

Posted by masterp
when i bought my t68i with t-mobile ( BEN at that time ) 2 years ago ,
they bookmarked esato for downloads ( i hope i'm correct about this ) .
thats the way i found about this fantastic forum

Posted by BobaFett
So it was a private favour by ben?

Posted by masterp
@ boba , i guess so , can' t really remember :S

Posted by sn3ipen
I remember maybe a half year ago when it was playtime. Then @Tranquill was asking se for prizes and got some necklace's and flash light's from finland.
