New Zealand will pass a law to jail people who secretly film others having sex or in other intimate situations without their consent, Justice Minister Phil Goff has said, reports The Age.
"Covert filming is becoming an increasing problem as new technology, such as cell phones with photographic capabilities, is developed," Goff said in a statement.
His comment followed publication of a Law Commission report calling for three-year jail sentences for those who make such films. It also recommended that those distributing and possessing covertly filmed images "of a very intimate nature" should receive a 12-month sentence.

Hey, im from NZ. I saw that on the news last night. Theres still heaps of grey areas though. My mate got his phone taken off him at a strip club the other night cause he was txting. Took about 15mins to convince to stupid bouncer it wasnt even a pxt fone lol

Anyone trying to take pictures @ a strip joint w/a camera phone obviously doesnt know much about his phone, so the bouncer is pretty much ignorant...it's too dark in those places lol I tried *blushes* I would show you, but I posted the pic once and it got deleted almost instantly
But here in Canada, they're kinda ignorant when it comes to that, although less and less, but I've never had a problem using my P800 in a strip joint...
I have to wonder though...will this law apply to people who have a fantasy about doing it in public? lol

Well I guess am the lucky one here because a friend of mine owns almost half of the strip clubs in Athens. So he has no problem of me taking photos. I've posted before some photos but they've removed and I respect that.
