sorry axxxr i was first

http://mobile-review.com/review/nokia-6230i-en.shtml

the new model will be availeble from august.
improvements are double speakerphone for stereo effect, bigger screen, abit more internal memory, 1MP cam (again why not the standard 1.3MP?) and probably a new color

love this sentence in the article:

I really regret that users of Nokia 6230 paid much money and purchased only an intermediate version of the phone.

son in other words, nokia did it again. think again before you buy a nokia

i just can't stand the way you present a phone that might be potentially interesting and then go ahead and completely slag it without ANYTHING relevant to say apart from it being a nokia.

so immature, so very tiring

@bart: yes, why not use 1,3mpx?? that's the thing about NOkia.. they are always last to use the newest technology and their phones are crappy

Posted by mmsman
what the hell are you guys talking about, it looks great, i would love to see something similar from se looks excellent in my opinion......

@mmsman: take no offence mate.. if you like Nokia it's completely allright for me. people have different taste and that's good, because the world would be a boring place if everybody had the same taste for things. I just dont like NOkia, cause I had some of their phones and when I moved to SE I realised that SE beats the crap out of Nokia.... If I should ever change, then it will be to either Samsung, Sharp or LG just saying my opinion:)

The photo on the left looks very photoshopped.. it basically suggests
that they would change the screen resolution to 128 x 160 like was done with 7200 > 6170, although that was a different relation.

Still, by the time it comes out (if its true), has SE already released the 1MP replacement of the K700 or will they be late like they were in the 6230 / K700 battle?

yes the foto on the left looks like it has the "new fone plastic" on u know when u buy a new fone u get the clear plastic on the screen and all they did was write on nokia 6300 and all the rest

The picture is clearly a fake.. the keypad doesn't even have letters on it, but only numbers. Also pixels are missing here and there

the nokia logo is copy pasted

missing pixels on the space sign

They should've changed the model number. that way people who bought the 6230 wouldn't say "I just got effed."

Taken from Mobile-review.com:

“Talking about the article on Nokia 6230(i) You have published – that is a sheer nonsense, even an attempt to discredit the product Nokia 6230. There is no 6230(i) version, it has never been or would be. Consider this as an official comment. Should You not publish it, the fact would prove me something…”

I'd rather shoot myself in the nose before buying a nokia.

Look at the post above. First, this thread was getting full of SE fans who wanted to diss Nokia for releasing an upgraded model so soon, "effing" people. And even though they were proved wrong by the Nokia statement, they still diss Nokia! So, it doesn't matter whether or not Nokia releases these quick i-versions with upgraded features, SE fans still hate it.

Which sort of makes the old argument "crap nokia always releases an updated version of the phone after a couple of months" rather empty, although it was untrue in the first case, as we saw here.
