Nokia has created a gizmo that is simply known as the observation camera. This still photo camera works on 900/1800 mhz networks almost like a mobile phone cam- but that can be mounted on a wall. Beefed up with motion detection capabilities this camera takes a snap whenever someone enters the room and sends it to an email id or to an MMS enabled phone. It also has infrared light sources so that subjects can be seen in dim lighting. Cool! But i dont understand why it has an in built thermometer!

I expect you pay for sending/receiveing that email/MMS the cam sends?

yeah damn grps lags too much
Posted by whizkidd
I guess it depends on what network the cam works.

It should work on any mms network as it needs the same settings as your handset

Heres some more facts about it: the camera comes with a software that enables its setup via a serial cable. It can also be remotely configured by simple SMS messaging. This also acts as a bugging device. Users can even call the gizmo and listen in on whats happening around the place.
