I realize that intercarrier mms isn't in America yet, but i've been told that it is possible to send pictures via email to a phone on another carrier. I am Cingular and the recipient is AT&T, we both have t616s. Any advice? I have called both cingular and AT&T on this matter and i had more information than they did. I am able to send myself a picture from my yahoo or hotmail account from a computer. Cingular has a picture messaging account set up on my phone already, does AT&T do the same? unfortuanly my friend doenst have much of a technical mind and wont check the settings himself, or call his carrier. Also, if there are any AT&T users in the states that would like to figure this out once and for all, im willing to help out by trying to swa mms messages. intercarrier mms is almost here but im to impatient to wait, please help.

Just send him a test message and find out for yourself. But at least here email to mms and vice versa is possible

i text message him all the time. how do i find out his email address? with cingular it is #@mobile.mycingular.com, does AT&T do the same? i have had him send a picture to my yahoo account and i tried to send a pic from my phone to that email address but i didnt work. my phone has multiple email accounts how do i know which one to use? i wish some one would tell me if this is possible or if i am just banging my head against a wall for no reason. thanks again for any help.

it should hav worked when u replied but if it dint then either try again or give up saying it aint possible. this is recently possible in india btw
