Website offers service to send messages into space

Paul Forté has come up with a unique service: the ability to send one-minute voice messages into space through his new business, Endless Echoes. The technology behind "Your Message to the Heavens" is simple:
An earth-based satellite ground-station at a secure location, satellite dish antennae, a voice messaging system similar to that of an answering machine. The system would automatically place these messages into a queue to begin their journey, and electronically feed the voices into the ground station and transmit the messages upward.

A one-minute message into space (along with one of two Certificates of Broadcast and a Distance Chart) will cost customers US$24.95, or $33.95 if the customer would like a CD as well. Once a message is sent customers can track the distance the message has traveled through the company website Distance Calculator using a 14-digit authorization number.
