Too many errors on this site when i use xhtml so i aint gona bother visiting esato much from now on. Duno if its SE phones that cant handle some characters but what i do know is that 9 times outta 10 its axxxr's threads i cant get in or i cant even access esato at all. Nothing personal axxxr :-). Whats the point of havin a SE xhtml phone if it dont work @ a dedicated SE site :-l

What about wml or html lite?

Posted by *Jojo*
@boyi - C'mon mate . . . have some more patience with your SE fone, if symptoms persist, why not accessing via laptop of desktop? I still need a companion like you in running my F1 thread . . . Like this coming weekend's race in Canada (?). Please come back . . . mate, P L E A S E ???

Posted by Dj Boyi
Xhtml is the fastest way to browse this place, why should i have to put my pc on just to browse esato when this place is based around phones? and i aint got a laptop.

Posted by Jim
Never had errors, must be your phone

Posted by BobaFett
@boyi i use only wml, works fine.

Posted by Dj Boyi
I know wml works fine,but u cant press 0 for last post,etc.

@boyi - My apologies here if your 'resources' are limited to a fone and a dekstop (?). Well, I just hope that you'll just change your mind. Btw, about that thing you said that it is more faster to browse esato site using your celfone - (xhtml), compared to that of a desktop/laptop, will the comparison still be the same, say, I am using a T1 or T2 connection from my desktop ?

Posted by BobaFett
@axxxr what brand did u send here to spam xhtml on esato? @boyi is the first, who is the next?

Posted by *Jojo*
@bobafett - Looks like you are now using an SE T630, why not change the icon/avatar of your profile ??? Just asking here.

Posted by edgey
I had problems at first but i registered on a p.c and i bookmark my login page.

Posted by Dj Boyi
Ah,that'll fix it then :-D

Posted by rdnymllnsktr
I use the T616 (which is identical to your phone) to browse Esato, and the ONLY problem I ever encounter is that sometimes I can't bookmark topics. What trouble are you having?

Posted by wapt
Having problem with T68i to enter the main page of forum xhtml for me.

use mobile.esato when using xhtml browser

Posted by scotsboyuk
@boba

What was that post about?

Posted by kimcheeboi
@boyi-it's because your phone's browser runs out of memory from the pictures in the thread. After all you usually only have about <400 kb of mem free on the phone right lol

Posted by gelfen
i've had that problem before. threads with pics, especially large ones, seem to evoke a hissy-fit from my phone.

Posted by Vlammetje
morning. not sure what a hissy fit is but i CAN concur that the xhtml script has always had some difficulties. I've never been able to enter the dutch threads via xhtml and have given up long ago.

On my Z600 it's slightly better though (it can handle longer posts!) and enough so to keep me happy.

axxxr posts are usually too long or contain too may images for any normal phone on any script and i never read those on wap anyway. Now if everybody learnt not to put any 'special characters' in their topic names so the xhtml forum index page wouldn't mess up... I dare say we'll all be alright

Posted by scotsboyuk
Just because there is a spot of difficulty is no reason to leave, always perservere.

Posted by Dj Boyi
@vlam,u got it ;-) And those characters,at least 2 i know is the euro symbol and an apostrophe(did i spell that right?).

Posted by *Jojo*
I totally agree with @scotsboyuk's last post!
@boyi - Just 'persevere' mate . . . .just 'preserve' your fone !

Posted by Vlammetje
apostrophes and accents, any currency symbol and 'trema's' (sorry can't think of the correct english term for it) are all evil.

Posted by gelfen
do you mean "~" ?

it's called a tilde (pronounced TILL-duh) in english - although the word is of Spanish origin with Latin roots.

Posted by mixin
so boyi was still here 1 day after he announced his retirement from esato... lets see if he can successfully not be able to leave for a second day.

Posted by Dj Boyi
Oh man,who said i was leaving? Try reading my 1st post again *Roll*

Posted by mixin
okay.

I'm still trying find the reason behind posting a thread saying that you are still gonna post here, but not as much.

why? It bothering you that much?

Posted by mixin
just have nowt else to do

Posted by Dj Boyi
Well if ppl could be arsed or have the decency to take out the characters in question from the subject title(i know i would)then we would'nt have a problem. Maybe copy and paste is all they can do,check axxxr's latest thread about sonys tablet thingy video,me and masseur both pm'd him about the problem nearly 2 weeks ago, obviously with no joy :-l as long as everybody else is ok tho.

Posted by masseur
I've just fixed up that one.

I assume laffen will see this thread and perhaps consider putting a filter on thread titles for such characters

Posted by Dj Boyi
U mean ur not gona lock it again? :-)
