Wonu Telecom, South Korean mobile phone maker, announced the release of the new GSM/GPRS slider phone WGM-1893-S. The novelty is said to be developed by the French company Sagem, so we might expect it to appear eventually in Europe (probably under another name).
The WGM-1893-S is a tri-band GSM900/1800/1900 handset supporting GPRS Class 10. It features a 128x160 pixel, 260K color LCD, integrated 300K pixel digital camera (rotating angle 180° and CMOS sensor), WAP 1.2.1, predictive T9 input system, MMS, 64-tones MIDI polyphony, vibro call and works with WBMP, BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF files.
The handset measures 94.9x46.4x24 mm and weighs 94 g (with the battery). In Hong Kong it is available for some HK$3000, which equals 385 USD.
