Right... here's this BIG question i'm just real interested to ask. lol
Say you walked into a shop.
A few weeks later you spot the phone once again. You REALLY like it and it has top of the range features!!!
So here's the question... buy it, as you realy like it: "Nokia here I come!" lol.
Say "No way. I'll resist" purely on principle and the fact that you supposedly 'Don't like Nokia'???
Toughie I know!! Please tell me what ya think! Hit Y or N! Thanks!
Posted by soulframe
I would be patient because I know that SE would bring something better out a few months later. I just can't buy anything but SE. Although the 6600 and the V600 are 2 very tempting phones
Posted by Elrond
If it would be a amazing phone, then I would go for it, but probably sell it after few weeks/days.
is
and no one can't beat it. My heart belongs to
.

I used only /// and now se until now. As long se has any touch to /// i wont use any other brand. If it is, only a european one.
Posted by kbloom
ta! any more people!?
Posted by jontyf
I would buy it!
Posted by bart
trust SE my friend, never doubt their power
Posted by MikLSP
Nokia simply don't have what it takes to do that. Even with the features there they would be crippled in some typically Nokia-like way.
Even if the could manage it, all other manufacturers would also including
and of course they would go even better.
So NO I would not buy anythin from Nokia
Posted by Gud
You have to answer as if this situation could potentially come true. However, I don't think it will (haven't during the last 3-4 years...).
Simply, SE has a phone design and user interface that is just superior...
I looked at the Nokia 6230 a bit before, but totally rejected it after trying it. Ok, also knowing that the K700 is coming...
Posted by Vlammetje
I'd buy the mobile that best suits my needs/wishes, regardless of brand
Posted by iyiinsan
First, I would wait for some reviews and then forget it... I was dying for a 6230 until I made a little visit to mobile-review.com!..
Posted by bossjohnc
Wouldn't care about the brand, I'd just buy it. Only reason my last three phones have been SE/E is because they were the best around.
Posted by sosojerk
What is the phone model you want?
Tell us the model...

Yey! Loads of peeps replied!!!

Well if it was reaaaaaaly good looking and with the perfect specs (thing imposible for nokia) I would buy it.. But no chance for that to happen so... LONG LIVE
Posted by kbloom
Nah, there is no phone really
Posted by Cula
I would wait and se how many phones that came back with foults. As I would never trust Nokia
Posted by Leks
First I wanted the 6230, but then i said to my self "WTF itīs a Nokia!"
Posted by ephil_24
Look, I am a big fan of
cause they ARE way more better..
If at anytime (yeah like that's gonna happen) nokia makes better phones I would buy one..
Posted by kbloom
Hey, I know what you mean guys. It's hard to move away from your trusted brand...
Posted by Ayush
I would just say such a situation would never come!
Posted by BobaFett
Its more than using just a fone. Take a look around here, they way we force and help each other, only because we use and like the same brand.
Posted by Jowi
even if it is a nokia, il go for it...
Posted by kbloom
Yeh, it's great here isn't it... you guys all look out for each other

No, I'll probably not buy any other brand of phone, at least not at the moment. Yes. I'll probably stick to SE.
I have no reason whatsoever to change to some other brand. I'm very happy and satisfied with the /// and SE phones that I have had the opportunity to own and/or try. Until SE proves otherwise or ceases to exist, I'll certainly stick to them.
I was using ///. I'm using SE. The reason was/is that they made/make the phones with the best:
- battery performance (high)
- connection possibilities (BT, IR, cable, GPRS, WAP)
- communication possibilities (SMS, EMS, MMS, email)
- cost/performance ratio
- durability
- fun/entertainment (games, themes)
- look and feel
- materials
- quality
- shape and size (small)
- synchronization (OBEX, SyncML)
- techniques (BT, IR, camera, Java, radio, MP3)
- value for money
- weight (light)
And my choice of /// and SE has nothing to do with not chosing Nokia in particular, not whatsoever. It has to do with not chosing any other brand in general.

i would says YES if you like something that much then go with your heart and not your head
i doubt it will ever happen though as nokia have got nothing that comes close to a p900
Posted by kbloom
Yup, P900 are good quality phones...

i have only ever had 2 nokias and i was very young at the time so please forgive me lol and they were a 3210 and 3310, nothing has come close to my p900 YET
Posted by kbloom
LOL. So... sharp or SE? What about the new mega pixel one? Good camera on it isn't there? So I've heard...
Posted by haynesycop

at the moment, i have had a t68i and then a panasonic gd87e, the camera on the gd87 was exellent, better than the p900, thats the only gripe i have on the p900 sharp gx30 looks gorg but ive only had my p900 since march and im still getting used to it lol
i do like the look of the yep uve guessed it
Posted by kbloom

i dont care about brand that much ... as long as its good or even look good. I'll have it on my desk the next day. If u like something that bad, why dont u just take it ... u can sell it after u got bored with it.
Posted by kath
Sounds a bit unrealistic. But then i'd go for it.. Or, no problemo, i'll have myself both SE and the "GORGEOUS" Nokia.
Posted by 701
I've tried the 6230 on friday but it's the same ole crap from Nokia. The tiny screen is useless and the manufacture sucks big time.ANYWAY, if it'd be 200$ i think i'd buy one...the brand doesn't matter too much for me if it's workin' properly and it has features for it's worth.
One more thing; I have a client that calls me freqently from his 6220 or 6230 and i've noticed one thing everytime i talk to him: the sound breaks up for an instant every 20 seconds or so. He seems not to notice but it's very annoying cuz for that instant u don't hear what he says...that shows what "quality" is for Nokia.

Well, it depends on what network you're with too...
Posted by sosojerk
i love my p900 but i know it will be obsolete sometimes.so, i will buy the phone that is the best for me.until now is SE P900.and the next will probably be an SE as well.
But I am not going to buy a se phone in any condition.because my hard worked money are not meant to support any company.they are meant to give me the best phone.period.
Posted by Geezay
I would buy it, even if it was a NOKIA. When the 7110 came out, it was untouchable and it remains the only NOKIA I have ever owned.
Posted by Lembo
Nokia showed me what a mobile phone could do.
I can imagine alot of us bought a nokia for our first phones.
Very practical and durable. No need for restarting the phones on those old babies.
BUT.......... I do love my p900!!!!!!
Nokia has fallen

For me its whatever phone suits my needs when its time to upgrade recently its been se but i am not loyal its my money so i want whats best for me at the right price. I would consider all phone makers and always try and read up before i buy
Posted by Lembo
me too
Posted by Sammy_boy
Is it just me or does that Motorola look a bit like a T630?
If I'm honest, I would probably buy the Nokia, I am not exactly the most brand loyal person in the world, although
phones will take some beating.
I've heard that the Nokia 6230 is full of bugs - looks like it may have been rushed out without being tested fully?
Posted by swipe108
I wouldn't buy a nokia. Now if we were talking about an XDA2 or if the Treo600 had a better screen resolution (both of which I can't afford), I might consider ditching SE.
Posted by Residentevil
Man there are many traitors in here.
Fact is, that for a company to succeed they need a successful R&D department, which is funded by the sales of the product. If we all want better SE phones and seeing SE succeed we need to support that company.
SE rules, Nokia drools
