Hey guys is it ok if i activate my bluetooth devise all the time im using nokia 6600 thanks
Posted by jontyf
Well if its running for hours it will really drain the battrery
But otherwise it's probably ok
But look for a second opinion

It would be GREAT he you left your bluetooth on all the time ;-)Seriously though, I do have it on all the time and use I am not terribly bothered by the extra battery consumption. I'd say in for it :-)

@jack02 - As the two respondents have replied positively - maybe it's OK mate. But may I just ask for what reason are you letting your bluetooth on for a long period of time mate? For me, it is as if you are turning-on your radio for an indefinite period of time as well, if the case may also apply. Perhaps, it's for 'bluejacking' - am I right ?

technically you can keep it on all time. but it drastically reduces talktime. do you actually use is all 24 hours? it takes hardly 3 seconds to turn bluetooth on when you need it.

Posted by Ayush
@jaimin but you can't keep it discoverable for a prolonged period? @jowi yeah! ;-) @boto means cordless phones also do harm??

oh come on...if everybody worried about everything what would be the point of us doing anything...we myt aswell jus wrap ourselves up in cotton wool n sit at home n nevr do anything
theres a lot more things out there that affect our health..i think u shud put bluetooth and mobile phones sumwer low down ur list and think bout all the other things

Oh my! Mine's turned on for a year long now
Posted by Jowi
@kath-why, you want to bluejack your teacher?
Posted by kath
Haha no.. My friends and I use bt anytime as our way of communication usually when we're not seated together. Faster and easier to keep discreet than passing paper notes.
