Could you give me your P900?!?!?
Since you didn't have a problem spending thousands of dollars on a Vertu!

Enjoy it. I'd love to get one too...

Posted by Neil Chen
If he has the $ ££ to spent on one fair play to him.

Posted by haynesycop
yeah definately good for you mate

if u can afford it then go for it

have you got any pics we can av a look at

Posted by JiggyJaggy
How much did u buy it for? All i can say is respect cos its one of the nicest toys on the planet!

I'm sorry but 2500gbp for a phone with (as far as I can tell) no Bluetooth or wap seems a bit silly to me.

For those who have not seen the Vertu, this is what it looks like:

Picture taken in Dubai twin towers last week.............with my P900

...and some I took with the P900 through a shop window in a less exotic settings (uk shopping centre) last week showing the prices

Posted by axxxr
which uk shopping centre was this then masseur?

Posted by masseur
bluewater in kent, apparantly the largest in europe or something

Posted by axxxr
yes been to bluewater many a time used to work there last year for a while but havent noticed these virtue phones there b4.will go and check em out next time im in there.

Posted by masseur
its a jewelry/watch shop but don't ask me the name.

while I am replying again, I wouldn't buy one of these unless I had so much money I didn't know what to do with it (and probably not even then). for this same reason I haven't bought a Breitling watch (yet )

Posted by axxxr
I know where your comin from ...i would never get these virtu phones myself!..But i think when it comes to a breitling now thats something different..will last u a lifetime unlike the vitue mobile.

Posted by Atlis
Are you pilots guyz? Cos since I'm flying I want Brietling watch... :-(

Posted by masseur
yeah I am a multi engine PPL/IR etc etc.

If, like me, you don't want to spend the money on a Breitling then I can recommend the Citizen Navihawk (I have the blue angels special). It has a proper E6B around the outside and a few more features than the Breitling.

I posted a picture here in the P800/P900 photos thread but I'll repost here

unfortunately the P900 doesn't do close up pics very well so here is a pic from another site

anyway this is a tad off topic...

Im not a pilot but i love these watches this ones my fav!
You've crash-landed your twin-engine airplane on an uncharted island. Panic is mounting as you recall Tom Hanks's four-year-long quandary on that godforsaken island in Cast Away. Then you glance at your Breitling Emergency watch and the panic subsides. There's time.

With a built-in rescue transmitter, the Breitling Emergency is equipped for exactly this situation. You turn the thick knob located just southeast from the watch face until it snaps. Running from the watch body to the unscrewed cap is a 43-cm, thin wire antenna. The signal is activated, and you can await rescue,

Breitling Professional Emergency Watch. Quartz chronograph with distress transmitter, 43mm 18kt white gold case, black dial, 18kt white gold Professional bracelet, water resistant to 100ft.

Retail price is $32,250.

Nice story but most of my friends who crashed airplane didn't have enough time to even take last breath (let's continue in who is a pilot thread)

Vertu's don't come with an "app" like that don't they?
Someone should develop that application.. he would urn a f***n medal
for this!

Posted by mustu
well i will take some pics and post them on the thread. The phone is real good to use.I really love the sound quality and stuff and the ascent has a yamaha sound system and card.

If I remember right annit the phone bit made by Nokia?

Posted by peeta
i think i'll wait till they make one with a built in life raft before getting one for that much money.

Posted by mustu
Well the company is ownd by nokia but the phones are not made by them. They are hand made and aremade by many companies that make fine watches. The phones....(sorry communiation instruments) are amazing in quality and very nice to hold and to talk from.

Posted by Scally_cadet
But its still a posh Nokia.

I don't see the point of carrying a lump of gold or platinum in your pocket in the form of a featureless phone. If I had the money, I'd get a super feature packed smartphone or something.

Posted by kimcheeboi
I'm not gonna believe it till i see it. Excuse me if i'm wrong, but mustu posts all these "i got a 9500" threads and doesn't post any pictures etc. Based on this i'm writing this off as another of his bs posts till i see some pics. Oh yeah, i got an enzo yesterday, it's a fantastic car, very classy.

Posted by govigov
Well you must be the son of an oil explorer to get two phones in one row or is filthy rich! where are the pics? Please get it here. What features does your phone have? Camera?
