when the write new message appears just press "c" then cancel so it wudnt be saved to the unsent items list

How can I set the homepage on a T610? The only option I can find is to set the current page as the home page... but id I enter "mailto:" I'm no longer in the browser so I can't do that.

I tried this on my K700i but it wont work. "mailto:" shortcuts to a new email address and not a new SMS. Any other setup that I should do?
