Posted by Cycovision

But I've always loved the SEGA logo, that's all

Posted by Dicky Snapples

First one, the cobra:

And my second one, Lord Shiva (Hindu god)

They both need a lot more work, will get them finished next time I'm in India

Posted by fatreg
why India cyco??

Posted by Cycovision
Because they were done by a very good friend of mine over there and so I think it's only right that he gets to finish them off

I'm off over there for several months again at the end of the year anyway, so I won't have to wait too long.

Posted by fatreg
ahh that makes sense then...

thought you had some proper strange reason but that's perfectly valid!!

Posted by Cycovision
HeHeHe!

No, I'm not always barking mad, just most of the time!

Posted by fatreg
you said it matey..

I still want a tat but not sure I'll like if after like a year or so..

can you get semi perm ones?

Posted by Cycovision
Nope! Some unscrupulous tattooists claim to offer semi-permanent tats that last for only a few years but it's simply not true. It's just a myth, you either have a henna tat that lasts for a few weeks or you have a real tat that lasts for ever. There are no magic inks as yet that fade to nothing once under your skin.

Just have a henna one done by a professional tattooist first, unless you're allergic or sensitive to henna of course. Most people I've spoken to (and myself for that matter) knew within a week or two after having a henna tat whether or not they'd be happy with a permanent one.

Also, have your first one in a place that is normally covered, and don't be tempted to get another tattoo in a more prominent place straight away (as many people do!)

I know what you mean, I can't be sure that I won't regret having mine done in ten years time but I'm pretty damn certain that I won't, having had several henna tats first. Also, they're on the tops of my arms and so normally covered up. No problem!

Here's one that my missus had done in India:

My new piercing

Posted by Rookwise
Had me throat pierced again. Looks much better than last time. They used a steel bar as well this time instead of a plastic one.

Oh. A pierced throat is called a Madison. Dont ask why. I have no idea.

Posted by Dicky Snapples
got the second session for my Koi booked. earliest i could get is 17th july. well gutted!

Posted by Trev1982

Quite a bit of detail in that mate. Will look well nice once finished

@Taz
Thats a long bar mate. Looks like a plastic one

Thinking of having a collar done next. Basically piercings all around my neck like the one I have atm then joined up.
Don't think work would be too happy though

Posted by Trev1982
yes rookwise its ptfe,
yes its plastic grows out slower

Posted by Rookwise
The first time I had the front of my neck pierced. They used a plastic bar. Grew out within 4 months and ended up taking it out due to the amount of plastic showing.
The one I had done recently (repierced) was done with a metal U shaped bar and so far so good.

it's already part of websters:

Webster's New Millennium™ Dictionary of English
Main Entry: blue screen of death
Part of Speech: n
Definition: a bright blue screen displayed by the Microsoft Windows operating system when it cannot recover from a system error; abbreviated BSOD
Example: The blue screen of death almost always means the computer has frozen and requires rebooting.
Usage: computing

Posted by DeKosta
Have had piercing in my lip, have in my eyebrow.
As far as tattoos ive got one, a homemade one on my leg.
It was conceived in a very late - or very early morning about 4-5 years ago under strange circumstances with a sewing needle and ink.

Posted by Trev1982

Posted by Miss UK
Ive got no tatoo's nor piercings lol

I watched Miami ink though dunno if anyone else has watched that

Posted by pmerryman
Miami ink is great. Got one tattoo on my arm. Couldn't ever get my tongue pierced, and I think it looks gross on the lip.
