Soft Keys on SE T610 and T630

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if you could answer me a question.

I have both a T610 and a T630. The T610 is on the Orange network whilst the T630 is on T-Mobile.

The softkeys on the T610 (I believe they are called SoftKeys. I'm referring to the 2 top buttons either side of the joystick) don't perform the same functions as those on the T630.
In addition the 'C' button on the T630 on the standby screen brings up a menu with only 'Silent' and 'Lock Keys' in it. Whereas the similar menu on the T610 (Not accessed by pressing the 'C' button) displays a whole host of other functions including Bluetooth and InfraRed.

Are all these functions network / phone related, or are they configurable??? If they are configurable i'll throw in a BigMac for anyone that could tell me how to do it.

It has been discussed many time, a search would tell you :-

Its because phones that are unbranded have the features but with the T-Mobile the phone is branded so the key changes to T-Zones. Its sotware related and can be changed. Its been discussed many time...have a look here

On my old uncustomised t610 the right softkey had a lot of functions including bt and ir. But if your t630 is t-mobile customised they may have changed functionality. The vodafone live t610 has the right soft key dedicated to access to vf live.

Cheers guys,

sorry about posting that... I had searched through the forum but most of the time found myself reading other, unrelated posts... especially the b'jacking ones which always bring a smile to my face.
