My T68 started to beep earlier today. I thought this was very strange because I didn't have a SIM card in it, and the phone was turned off. I found out that I had set an appointment which started today.
I knew you could let the phone remind you even if the phone was turned off, but I didn't know this would work without the SIM.

I always thought that the calendar details were stored in the software of the phone and not in the sim. That is why when they update the T68 to T68i using the new s/w, they warn us that we will lose all the calendar details stored in our phone. Its kinda like the updating of s/w we do on our computers - going from Windows 98 to Windows XP I guess

I have noticed the same thin on my T65 I had removed the sim card because my phone had fuc**ng jammed. But still it beebed when there was a calendar reminder.
