Don't you think that "SMART Kid" is a bit unappropriate. I know a lot of people who are against little kids using cellphones. Aside from magastos, these would teach kids to be materialistic (showing off their new phones), tempt them to do bad things (like steal phones), become impersonal (text na lang). And now Smart is commercializing this idea! I just hope parents would boycott this.
Kid's don't need phones. We didn't need phones when we were kids right?

nakakatuwa, may maganda din pala sa gobyerno. i had my car registration renewed at LTO makati last monday, and it took me just 6 steps.
1. emission control check (P300) at reposo
2. LTO window 3 to submit requirements
3. your name will be called in 15 minutes for the stencil
4. return form to window 3
5. wait (i did for 25 or so minutes) for name to be called at window 9 for payment
6. go to window 10 for stickers, etc.
ala na kong kailangan i-fill up

Another thing:
Pag na huli ka for traffic violations, hindi na kukunin ang license mo. They will just give you a ticket and you have to pay your fine in any Metrobank branch. You cannot register your vehicle if you haven't paid. Wala na rin hassle of retreiving your confiscated license.

It's currently being provided to our Executives here in the office (powered by Smart). It's a 3-in-1 wireless handheld communication tool that functions as:
1 ) a cellphone to send and receive text and even place voice calls,
2) an organizer where you can manage your calendar, and
3) a browser to access Internet and Lotus Notes mail.
So in other words, no longer have any other reason why you can't read the office email.

The blackbery has limited functionalities.
It lacks 3rd party software and multimedia capabilities most phones and PDA phones have. It's just an instant email machine with some organizer and phone funcitonalities. Not too impressive.

jackal, mas mabilis noticeably yung camera, unlike before after taking a shot you still have to hold still for about 5 seconds. on the positive side, merong task manager to blast those apps that are running (tanga kasi dapat auto-close mga apps), may picture caller ID, may J2ME support.
ang main advantage lang ng smartphone is pwede ka mag lagay ng apps, kung may source ka o willing kang bumili. kung hindi, bale wala.
