Put a magnify glass in front of your bluetooth area, device and you will receive and send things not only 10 metres (aproximatelly 18-23) depends on the magnify glass. also i use simple glass but i am testing it. Try it . It works for me. Especially for bluejackers!

And how am i going to put the glass in the bluetooth area? The phone will look like shit!

Posted by BOSSHOGG
Haha!

Posted by nickname88cy
Buy a small one. This is not a problem . You put it in front of your phone in the area of the bluetooth. Try it

Posted by Stan
Yeah right, what ever! when has a magnifying glass EVER magnifyed radio waves........NEVER!

Stan

Posted by nickname88cy
and noone give a strange look in you and your phone! i tried in crowded places and nobody looked my curious. Act before post hackfree

Posted by nickname88cy
Why dont you try it to see? Try it and THEN reply!

Yeah nice joke but next time think of something that we can believe in it

Posted by mixin
omg!

just tried it with my "young scientist" telescope, and i managed to jack someone about 200metres away!
The telescope came in handy for spying on who i got too

I will just point out that here in work we have a BLUETOOTH developer, I just told him about this thread.....He is still on the floor laughing

@ Stan: i dont know what he sais but it worked for me. i just tried it with my brother about 17 metres away. Maybe is the type of the glass?
@ nickname88cy : have we used the same magnify glass? what is the brand of yours? and again thanx for the trick

Lets get this invention registered and start selling. We'll be millionaires.

Posted by nikolas55
you all stupid people. why dont you tried it? i tried it and it worked!

Posted by mswallis
why don't you give it a try before critisizing and saying it doesn't work.

Posted by BOSSHOGG
*still laughing*

Posted by kev.morris
to all the people who say it works, have you checked to see i your phones are capable of more than 10m without the magnifying glass?

Posted by Jim
Yup that's true, mine can go about 15 m with my dongle and 9 meters between two stairs

Posted by batesie
ok. radio waves magnified thtough a magnifing glass? ok. what u been smoking?

Posted by riflogic
Thats the sort of thing Eric Cartman in South Park would come up with

Posted by Stan
@nikolas55 - I asked a BLUE TOOTH DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER! it is complete bullox!

RADIO WAVES CANNOT BE MAGNIFYED WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS, that is basic physics, maybe IrDA could but not bluetooth.

So If I get 1, say football pitch sized. I could my brother 200 miles away??

Plus there is no port, like ir, so you would have to put your phone in a 2 glasses to seal it. As radio waves emit in all directions.

You are going to get flammed big time for this.

Oh you already have

say to your engineer to try it. try it and dont critisizing before. it works. but i feel that you deserve nothing

@nickname88cy

Calm down now. I am laughing continously and finding it hard to stop and as a result getting a stomach ache. I gotta give it to you man, YOU ARE A FUNNY GUY big time.

if all it took was a magnifying lens, wouldnt SE fit it as standard?i concur with the rest of the thread

wow is it april 1st again already? seems like just a month ago

Posted by Vlammetje
A 100 bucks to the person who can pinpoint the EXACT location where the bluetooth waves exit my phone :-D

Posted by Stan
@Vlammetje 360 degrees on 3 dimensions....you ow me $100

@nickname88cy So if what your saying is true than for example a car radio with bad reception, all you would have to do is hold a magnifying glass by the antenna and it would improve signal. Well it wont work! And as bluetooth is radio waves that wont work, sorry pal you can`t argue with science!

Haha...this is bout the funniest thing ive ever heard!
how in the world did u manage to enhance the distance of radio waves with a magnifyin glass??.
well heres another tip...4 all u ppl out there suffering from poor reception ..tryin usin a magnifyin glass..it just mite work!!..LOL!!

Posted by *Jojo*
I tried 'blue jacking' using my reading eyeglasses which has a 2 inch thickness, and guess what I just found and received? A signal from outer space, perhaps from the Rover which is now in Mars, btw, is that thing still alive ??? Haven't got much news from BBC nor CNN about it !

Posted by wapchimp
@vlam - exactly what I was pointing out.

I have said many times before I have had well over 10 metres with bluetooth, playing battleships between 2 T68i's.

Radio waves are interupted by surroundings, other electrical equipment & atmospheic conditions. So the range while given as standard maybe 10 metres, but then it can go over that, but will rarely fall short of this because of the close proximity of devices and the conditions we use of equipemnt.

Posted by TheGlassJAw
ooh no, i held the magnifing glass too close and burnt a whole in my phone! damn

Posted by BOOYAR
Right i'm off to try and make myself a magnifying glass bubble to put my t610 in. Not figured how to get it inside yet, or how to operate the phone. Perhaps i could sit in the bubble with my tv and radio phone. Hey, instead of roaming when abroad we could just use a magnifying glass to pick up reception from home

I can't believe this thread wasn't deleted before it could start.

I've increased my bluetooth by covering my phone in whale fat and calling it Larry!!!

Posted by Evilsummer

good one!

Posted by Stan
After MixN tried his Junior Telescope, I wondered what would happen if I used a microscope, well it made the signal SOooooooo weak that my P9 could not communicate with an other phone within a 10cm range to it. LMFAO!!!!!

Stan

p.s. The Development Engineer is STILL on the floor laughing. nickname88cy you ow him a days wages

Just think if you used a huge astronomical telescope, or maybe the Hubble one. Perhaps you could bluejack a few extra terrestrials!

Or maybe pick up a signal from the Beagle 2 probe? Maybe that's what we've been doing wrong.....

Posted by Lembo
@Sammy_boy

Posted by !ndy
seriously...what is wrong with people...a magnifying lens?

do the laws of science not apply to the dim-witted?

Posted by Guy89
omg I dont wanna say anything

Posted by boto43
nonsense for bt.pls try it with ir but dont aim any1 to eyes

Posted by Vlammetje
ooooh you've just given me some ideas

Posted by buckle247
lol, almost as funny as the guy who thought that a stylus had ink in it and was wondering the damage it would do to a p900 when he used it.

Posted by etaab
He probably means Bluetooth is improved as you can see the blue LED flashing from further away !

.. it doesnt work like that !

Posted by Payalnik
Please report the results if u tried it with ir!

Posted by mickil
You gotta remember that the singnal emitted from a bluetooth isn't a normal radio signal:-D. Maybe it works with infrared!.

Posted by Payalnik
What difference r u talking about?
