hi peeps!
is it true that Globe block's certain WAP sites? is this the reason why I cannot connect and download from the SE PlanetMG WAP Site?

if you really want to visit other wap site/s try using globe's WAP CSD settings
Posted by bobreyes
but how much will they charge me by using their CSD service?
Posted by verlin
that's expensive bro!

i had inquired via the GlobePH helpdesk and they told me that for my plan (GFlex 800), the first minute for accessing WAP over CSD is for free and the succeeding minutes will cost me Php3.00 -- reasonable enough if i really want to download something

When it comes to 'web-surfing' - SMART is definitely the better choice here! My Dad just bought a brand new Nokia 6230, and it's GPRS function (Globe) has not yet been activated since now (almost 3 weeks)! Globe is really having some problems with it's service!

not yet activated ? did you know how to activate it? it is as simple as sending a text. all you got to know is the right word to send to a certain service number that globe has provided for this. you can search here @ esato for this, they got it all here.

or you may call the Globe HelpDesk 730-1000 or 211 from your handyphone to request the activation of your GPRS and MMS
