How risky is it to flash a SE phone yourself using the Terminator dongle? I have a T-mobile branded T630 and want to remove the branding/update the fw. I know the official SE centers don't remove the branding because it's located in a secure part of the the phone which they don't have access to. The dongle's i've seen on ebay claim to be able to remove ALL branding. Is there anyone here who has successfully removed branding with the dongle?

yea. i did about 3 T610's and recently a t-mobile t630 as well. worked great. just read instructions and the guide carefully. my ICQ is 81537081. i am very knowledgable about SE flashing, so just contact me on ICQ with questions you have i'll be happy to help you out.
and terminator is great. very easy to use if you are just patient and careful. and all the software and firmware files are free.

Thanks, i'm a bit more confident now. But what I was thinking is that if there's is somebody who would provide this service then I would rather have an expert do it for me. If there's anyone who lives in or around london who could do this then I would be most gratefull. Of course I would also be willing to pay a nominal fee.
