But listen almost half of my screen is covered, my screen starts from my operator and below, which means the flip covers half of the screen
Another thing is that how do u exit the game afterwards. I have to turn my phone offcause when i open the flip I cant seem to touch the pico menu.

the close is hidden by the screen play, so you have to gues whwere on the creen it is.
2 q's does anyone have sound and do you have to re configure the controls with every different rom you use?

i have problem exiting it too. open the flip and click the picodrive in the top left hand corner, on mine it comes up quickly and then disappears so i just click about 1cm underneath and it usually closes

They should have an option to have this full screen so that u cant see the buttons and when u close u see the entire screen.

The following roms are working excellent on the picodrive.
1. Double dragon
2. sonic & knuckles
3. Altered beast

Is it me or are the controls really awkward for sonic? Dam those stupid jumps to the right and left. I realise with the P800 that you can only press one button at a time on the flip but surely it must be possible to adapt the P900 so you can press up and right at the same time? Maybe Picodrive could also make you select controls so that they are eight way instead of just four way! Anybody?

Richy - best way to play sonic is to use left and right on the flip & then use the camera button for jump. you can press that simultaneously with the flip buttons.

Hey philA in reply to you answer for me, I actually worked that out that you could use those buttons shortly after I posted my last message. However when I do use the camera button, it does have a tendancy of starting the camera application which is a bit annoying! Is this a common problem and is there a way of disabling it?

PicoDrive0515.sis is the latest version now. (page 11 in the thread @ my-symbian forum) buttons seem alot better plus touch screen & you can now play full widescreen.
if only Sensible soccer would work :(

Hey, I havent tried this emulator since the first version... really really a BIG one, more playable! Jesus when sound support would be added Itll be the BEST soft that Ive seen in my P800. Really fast, those that think P800 processor can compare to PC CPU are crazy... look this FPS!!! I never got it whi my old Pentium-I PC... SonyEricsson rocks.

man sound is all i need now, but guys, i heard sound can really lower the perfomance for the p800 / p900
this is because sound emulation is a hard part of the work, its about 35% more processing power, it can be done but there will be slowdown in the frames per second. and the sound wont be identical
we just gotta hope that our phones will be powerfull enough to run this thing at full pelt.

if you have a huge memory stick like 128mb duo, make sure it aint full, mine is at 80mb full with the rest remaining, but i had lodsa apps and software, got rid of the unused ones, and suddenly my internet started to function properly and was able to work the picidrive as well,
also use file manager to close all the unecessary apps before loading the picodrive.,,. this worked wonders for me. better tham sman

i had the same problem its because you havent got anoth memory,i put my empty 32mb memory stick in my phone and downloaded it to that and a rom (premiership manger 97)and it works fine,all thanks to the help i got in here,
right as for the other post the configure keys if you have the keypad on you can pick the buttons the you want the controls to be i have
4=left
6=right
2=up
8=down
a=*
b=0
c+#and start(on and off button)
or no key pad (use jog)
left=back
right=pull
up=jog up
down=jog down
a=push in jog
b=camera
c=internet
i hope this helps both of you,

hey i have been playing premier manager 97 and 98 but the only thing is i cant save it so it seems stupid to put all the effort in to playing the game then losing it because i cant save it,

the games may be small but the n64 was pretty processor intensive and had a dedicated graphics chip. the p series lack a powerful chip and even though the processors are roughly equal in speed (100mhz - anyone back me up on this?) emulation overheads would push waaaay past it's limit. even a desktop usually doesnt run fast enough to perfectly emulate an n64.
bit of a shame really as you could fit about 15 copies of mario 64 on one 128mb memory stick

sms is sega master system not megadrive...i dont think (?not sure) the pico emulator supports SMS
even if it does...you should be playing the megadrive version of the golden axe game because it'll have much better graphics. go find it.
