Nokia has dropped what we can only presume to be a ridiculously large amount of money to become the official phone of the NBA and the WNBA. Usually these things are just meaningless branding excercises, but there is an upside to the deal: if you’re a basketball fan and you own the right kind of Nokia phone you’ll be able to get game highlights, news, scores, logos, and video clips delivered to your handset.
