Today it got to be about 100°F, so inside my car it got to at least 120°. When i went to go pick up my phone it was so hot I could hardly hold it. I know CPUs aren't supposed to get too hot, but how hot is too hot to be safe for my T616?

>60 degC / 140 degF according to the z600 manual (p. 116)

depends on the sexiness of the phone. the t610 is VERY hot so i imagine it can handle quite a bit!

so is there any remedy to keeping your phone cool in the car? (besides not taking it in the car, but thats not an option while i'm at baseball practice)
And have any of you noticed that if you leave your screen in VERY bright sun for about an hour, it lightens the screen for about 10 minutes? its sort of scary

Here in Wales we have more problems keeping our phones warm than cooling them.....

leave it in the boot rather than in the dash or the glovebox - it's usually a bit cooler there. or take it to practise and leave it in your bag (only if you can see it at all times) or maybe in a locker.

padron my ignorance, but...what's the boot?
Posted by gelfen
in america it's referred to as the "trunk".

aaahhhh yes now i remember! i used to live in south africa, so at one point i was up with the brit english, but america ruined me....
thanks for the clrification, and i agree, the boot is much cooler than the other storage places in the automobile!

what do you mean "brit english"?

haha! i actually thought he meant inside of a real boot or something! oh man...
but when you're driving a truck, the boot is a little hard to find

Better have a 'leather' holster fitted on your phone . . . Much better and comfy !

sorry, no offense meant by the brit comment. and inside a boot! hahaha tha't funny.
i suggest in that case keeping it under the seat. the chassis stays cool and the sun won't beat down on it.
as for leather, that heats up VERY fast. i can barely hold my steering wheel in the summer! plus i hate cases and holders, hides the phone's beauty.

Hmmmm . . . maybe a 'suede' holster will do then huh ?
