You should call your provider and ask them

You can still use gprs on your sim. Jus call 08705 214 000 and ask them to activate it on your sim. Ps. I use a 4 year old cellnet sim and everyfin is fine

@marcos

stuartdb87 is right, you won't get charged if you don't use it PROVIDING that your mobile company don't set you up on a 'fixed package'.

For example, my provider (orange UK) charge me something like £4 per month for a fixed amount of GPRS usage. I have to pay that £4 per month whether I use my GPRS allowance or not. I usually do, so it's OK for me

Just make sure that you get a 'pay as you go' GPRS package, not a 'fixed monthly fee' one. If you're not on contract, you probably won't encounter this issue anyway.

I just thought, i probably wont use it much at all now that i've ordered my bluetooth pc adapter. But if its a good price i'll still want GPRS anyway.

it seems to still be free on O2 (aka cellnet), even though they're supposedly charging from today......... NICE *evil cackle*
