Thought I'd found the girl that I always wanted. She started at my place of work (july 03) and within a week we were seeing a lot of each other. Practically every spare minute we could find. September came and she had to return to university in preston ( i live in stoke on trent which is about 103 miles away) for her 2nd year. Things were still good as i would see her ever 2-4 weeks . I would drive up to her and spend a week with her.
The first problem encountered was her ex who was living in the same flat as her and was seeing her other flatmate. He was causing a lot of trouble for her after about a month of her moving there which was upsetting her. She ended up moving to another block and everything was good up until 2 weeks ago. By this time we had got engaged and were planning things. We were talking over the internet messenger as we would normally do. Then out of nowhere she said she didnt want us to be together anymore and she was using the money we had saved for a holiday to go to croatia to meet a lad that she met in one of her chat groups and was staying for a month or longer.
This really upset me as I thought the world of her and would do anything for her.
Last weekend she phones me saying sorry and asking me to forgive her which i did. Everything was as normal and I arranged to see her this week 26/4/04. I was back home by 5am on tues 27th cos she woke me up in the middle of the night saying she had changed her mind and 'just wanted to be friends'. the whole day & a bit cost me over £300 in total (petrol costs, buying her food/shopping cos she hadnt got any money to get any etc) and she keeps texting me+emailing me saying how sorry she is and she didnt mean to hurt me.
So, here I am feeling very down and fed up. Never thought I'd say it but thank god I start back work tomorrow.
People say I'm a soft touch when it comes to relationships and people I'm with take advantage of that fact.
