yah..almost everyone will say its SE. But frankly i prefer SE over nokia. but even p900 doesn't satisfy some of my requiremnets...n i realised that after i purchased p900. there r some better phones out there than p900. i will b happy to exchange my phone with an xda2.

Well SE for now but i used to like Nokia much..the older nokia like 5110-3210-3310...many hours of snake fun
but i don't like nokia anymore (looking strange, n-gage a phone?no way!) Fanditha, you have some high requirements of a phone 
i can't call a xda2 a phone anymore..but have to agree its a good PDA

well think about it this way
nokia communicator/7650 - sony ericsson px00 - se is smaller, better
nokia 3310 - sony ericsson t200 is smaller, better featured
nokia 3510 - sony ericsson t300 has mca-25
nokia 7250i - sony ericsson t630 has better colour screen, easier buttons
new nokia flip phone - sony ericsson z1010, better screen, msduo
nokia 8310 - sony ericsson t100, better looking
nokia 6220 - sony ericsson t610/z600 better screen more features smaller
nokia 7210 - sony ericsson t68i, best camera snap-on phone. however 7210 does have better screen (you see i aint bein biased!)
the list is endless. the thing is nokia re-release their phones in different designs with pointless gloindark covers etc. that is why they are popular because their looks can suit different people. but if you read why i say the sony ericsson phone is better (i have chosen the popular nokias) then you will understand why nokia suck.
and dont mention the n-gage!

daredeviluk hit the nail on the head. I think, in general, that:
- Nokia phones are ugly while SE phones are beautiful
- Nokia phones are popular while SE phones are technical
- Nokia phones are quite simple while SE phones are advanced
- Nokia phones are for loosers while SE phones are for true winners
For me it's SE for ever!

Me and my brother had the same conflict with the SE and Nokia arguement.
But he got that Acura TL car with bluetooth. He didnt find any Nokia phones with bluetooth that he liked. He switched to the T610 and he is in love with it.

i think SE is better in design n has some features linke the menu its as a desktop computer, nokia doesnt have well but nokia is a full features but its phones desing are really aggggggggggggg!!!

I think with the phones themselves (IE: functions and looks), the SE are WAY better, but because the market is flooded with Nokias, it is easier to customize them. Also, nokia seems to have a lot more accesories made by them, such as that speaker stand thing, or the webcam to be used over your cell phone, which even though you can make your own fo rmuch cheaper, this one does it all by itself...

Well i have to say if SE phones are so much more technical than nokias then what are most of you doing with them? Being so narrow minded you would be much more suited to a "simple" nokia surely. Don't get me wrong Se have produced some pretty good phones which are good at what they do and i should know i have a P900 but it has many flaws and where it fails my nokia 6600 takes over mind it has many flaws too, but to sit there and slag nokia all day just isn't real. I understand you're all biased towards SE, but those of you who have a mind of your own must admit that nokia products tend to do what they say on the package instead of several firmwares later down the line! Thankyou and goodnight.

if i needed my phone just for texting and phoning people i would chose a nokia over any se as there are far better and faster for texting and i have found they are better at holding calls and call quality.
however i need my phone to do a bit more than the basics so i choose se i am in no way loyal to them. its just a simple business transaction to me i give them money they give me a phone i feel no love or loyalty to yet another faceless corparation which are just out to make money like nokia and i have no problem with this

good call slattery, if nokia made something equivalent to the p900 in terms of screen size and phone size (all their screens are small little squares) and memory of at least 128meg i would choose nokia because their cameras are always better. About crashing issue, i had the nokia 7650 which was the most advanced nokia of the time as it had series 60 os and it crashed a lot and had only 4 meg so i don't believe se are only phones that crash.

davidgweeden, don't want to start a row but P900 comes with 32meg of ram and the maximum you can get is 128 for it with expensive memory stick duo's where as nokia 6600 can hold up to 512meg with mms cards even the 3650 held 128 and it's far cheaper than sonys chips! I filled my 128meg card in no time with my P900 and that's my lot it's prob a good job that the converted video's are crappy and unwatchable or i'd be quite upset that i had no-where to store them.
