Hello!

I have problem connecting with my T630 faster then 9200bps. I shoud have according to Vodaphone in Sweden a dataspeed @ 28.8Kbps.

Do I need to add an extra init string? Does anyone know the string?

welcome to Esato

assuming you are using GPRS, and assuming you are connecting from a pc (as this is what it sounds like to me) and using the phone as a modem, then you should check the maximum speed setting in control panel for the modem

sorry for the lack of information. The speed set in control panel is set to 115Kbps. Anyother idea?

no prob. lets just confirm its GPRS you are using. is your dialling number in the form of *99*# or *99***n# (where n is a number)? or does the dialing number look like a normal telephone number?

If its a normal telephone number then you are using CSD to dial out and that is limited to 9600bps (although some network can do 14.4kbps).

edit: to answer your question I have never used an init string myself

The phone number is acctually as a normalnumber. Before the telephone change I used a T68i with a SoftGSM cable and used a normal number with 28.8Kbps. Now i have a T630 with a DCU-11 cable and it don't work =////

I'm dialing the same number and using the same subscribtion....

ok I think I can't help you any more. maybe this is a HSCSD connection and I have no experience of that. sorry for that.
