R380 synch problem - Esato archive

I had this problem so many times and always resolved it by reinstalling Communications suite.
What happens is that the "Link Properties" doesn't see the phone even if the back-up works. In fact Communications suite ask me if I want to back-up and I can do it with no problem. But when I want to synch it doesn't work. If I disconnect the phone from the cable it becomes stuck in "connecting" mode" in "Link Properties".
Then I disactivated all connections in "Link Properties" and suddenly the synch was done. Is "Link Properties" part of P900 software and interfering with R380 software?
I can't understand why this is happening.
