Yes, it is legitimate. You bought the phone, and it's yours. As long as you don't mod it to be some kind of gun or something, then it's fine. If you need with flashing, unbranding, or unlocking, give me a buzz, I love this stuff!!!

Isn't it kind of obvious whether you'll get your cable or not??? If it's a real site, then "DUH!", you're gonna get your cable, if it's not a real site, then that sucks. From what I can tell, your FW is RB1008.
