Looks like I am officially going back to RIM since the new Curve will work with HotSpot@Home. If SE had worked with TMO to release the P1i Stateside to work with HotSpot@Home I would have one now. 18 days left with my P990i (missuk you should buy it from me!).
Posted by Miss UK
ive heard of T-Mobile.com HotSpots they don't have that here on the UK one I don't think
My network have the P1i though

Why not just get a P1i? My P990 has taken a few "walks" down sidewalks, "tripped" in parking lots, and had a few other "run ins" with inanimate objects. Other than that, it's in perfect condition and ready to ship!!

You can now buy the P1 at Fry's here in the US in a brick and mortar store and have it run on AT&T.

I think you were being Synical LOL
whats all upto today anyways
Posted by knight4led
Hey everybody. I miss talking to the folks around here and I miss the States.
I didn't think I'd ever envy anyone shopping at fry's, but my old T616 is about to bite the dust and I looked around for a reasonable replacement, and a W810i still costs well over $400 here. I can get a K790a for $25 more. And silly me I am considering buying one or the other on my Peace Corps stipend.
Posted by Miss UK
W810 cost under £100 here so why don't you buy one from eBay or something
Posted by knight4led
ebay just isn't really an option here in El Salvador. I can't really trust the mail for anything of value and to top it off it goes to a post office where I don't always get informed if anything has come for me or not. Basically I have to buy at a brick and mortar store, but I think I'll just revert to a cheapo nokia and suffer for about a year.

Hi, I'm looking for an USA-contactman how would give it'S adress for an ebay item which is only shipped within USA. I'm from Germany and the seller don't want to deliver to Germany. It wouldn't be a problem to ship it with USPS international flatrate box.
I would pay and the one from USA just needs to take the parcel and send it to me.
Thanks for a quick reply, also on ICQ 12819175

You have a P.O. Box you mean hmm I see your point I don't think i'd trust the Post Office then,
Couldn't you not buy some phone and have it re-directed to your parents home though?
eBay is pretty good just use your head and go with the flow choosing good feedback sellers id say

Yeah, I was considering that, but no 850 MHz band and no EDGE. Same thing with the W960, which I was all revved up to get. But without these North American features they both become non-starters for me. I may take a look at the K850, but it's not what I really wanted.
Posted by Residentevil
Well the P1 will just work fine on T-mobile and depending where you live you might not miss the 850band on ATT. I am working the P900 just fabulous on tmob.
Posted by Miss UK
Ressy isn't it time you upgraded that thing
