Counter Fraud, currently working for local govt. But qualification and experience can be transferred to pretty much anything. Private industry, banks, etc
Quite interesting, protecting the tax payers money from dodgy scum stealing from the state!

That is exactly what we need here.

Is there any proof that she wants to live? I mean, come on, being a vegetable for 15 years, I think the guy's a monster for letting her live that long...Before that happened, she was actually a good looking girl, seemed pretty normal and active...I dont think she's happy...I mean, hasn't it been established that there is no hope for her? here here man well put

my personal opinion is that if you won't have all of your mental faculties, or face being stuck in a bed, plugged into a thousand machines, then you are no longer leading a life as we know it. None of us can comprehend what this situation feels like, nor have we ever experienced it. If it is no longer life as we know it, and we can't can't feasibly know how horrible (or pleasant) it is, then I don't see why we should be so judgemental about either choosing to keep someone alive or allowing them to die in this situation.

I say let every situation like this be handled on its own as a personal and hard decision. Don't interfere because none of us understand.

man that sucked i typed a long ass message then the power died

as much as i would hate to do this to my kids i would want to give them peace after 15yrs.
it makes me wonder what they (the media wait that is me)
are covering up bad news in iraq???? oil prices???? increasing world tensions???? this story is not worthy of almost 2 months of a media blitz there is more to it than meets the eye they are hiding something

When she was first in the hospital, she was able to get out of bed by herself. She was not a vegetable. She was able to talk. The husband did not give her any rehabilitation and injected her insulin, which she did not need to rub her out. There are no pictures on the wall, no flowers allowed. He wants her dead, so he can go on with his wife. And to this day there are split opinions if she is a true vegetable. That is according to nurses. So why did he not sign custody over to her parents and walk away? He wanted her dead from the beginning. Something stinks here. We will see after the autopsy. And if there is no pain involved when you starve someone to death (yeah right) why do they give her morphium? I don't want to be Mike S. on Judgement day.

Hey how's it going everone. I wish I would have known about this forum earlier. But it seems like only 4 or 5 of you run the whole show!

I've heard a lot of things on this whole Schiavo issue... mostly from dumb ass Rush Limbaugh that I listen to because I have nother better to do at work. Now, I consider myself a liberal but I believe that if this woman's parents are willing to pay for her feeding then let her have food! It's not like she is on a ventilator or some other sort of artifical life preserver, she just can't feed herself. It seems as though the Pope is in worse shape than Terri right now with the whole respirator and nasal feeding tube. I heard the only reason that Mike Schiavo wants her dead is so that their marrage is over and he can officially marry his long-time girlfriend with which he has two children.

But anyway, enough of that.. it's like beating a dead horse... Oops! That joke might have been a little harsh...

Just one last thing to say: GO STATE! Beat up them TarHeels!

Posted by ether42
@xxjonneexx
my final comment if he wanted to marry again he could get a divorce thats right about the pope kill his ass too
p.s. all i have to do at work is listen to rush limbaugh and go on esato so it is half fun (i'll let you decide which is which)

Not me I am waiting for the next Pxxx series phone.

Posted by knight4led
gonna be a while for any of those phones here in the US. We always have to wait a bit longer. Kind of annoying really. Doesn't matter though, I won't be spending money on a phone for quite some time since I bought a P910.

Posted by Chazzer3
that is the only thing I would be worried about if I did move to the US, and that is the fact that the mobiles (cells), do seem to be a bit behind the rest of the world, (apart from certain obvious places), and otherwise it would be heaven for me, and my job, I could really go places!

But I guess I just have to wait and see!

Posted by ether42
think about it this way the longer time you have to wait the more reviews can be writen about the product(what ever it maybe )so you can make a more informed desicion
ok i'm really just tring to make my self feel better about the fact that we are pretty behind

Posted by Bammers
always nice to hear we are in front of the US! Never ceases to amaze me that so many people are still using analogue phones in the US! Although I hear you do have ptt in some places that we are just getting over in the UK?

Posted by knight4led
I don't think there is anywhere in the US that only has analog service, so don't get too excited about that. I haven't seen an analog phone in about 5 years.

And PTT is available nearly everywhere from several providers. It has been around out here for several years at least. Nextel and Boost mobile have had it for a long time, but they don't really market to the normal cell phone crowds, mostly business.

Posted by Bammers
saw quite a few analogue phones last year over there. We have none here and havent had for a good few years! However ptt isonly just coming through, only a few phones with it and I've heard nothing from the providers about it!

Posted by knight4led
where were you that you saw so many analog phones? Seriously, I don't even know of a provider that offers analog service anymore.

Posted by ADT0079
@knight Probaly in Idaho Or tennesse.:-D

Posted by Bammers
florida! Some of them were so old, but maybe I'm just confusing them with old first generation digital ones. You do like the old motorola flips over there dont you!

Posted by knight4led
The only old motorola flips that are analog are the microtac and the piper, which are only flips in the sense that the T28 is a flip.

Besides, there are tons of old people in florida that probably don't even know that its the 21st century.

Posted by ADT0079
lol thats so true there are even cities here that are only for old people

Yes there are the 50 year olds that do carry the old moto's IE my mother or for you Brits my mum
but for the most part i see alot of the samsungs around in florida

Posted by Residentevil
Those tiny Samsung flip phones are pretty popular here, as are the Motorola flip phones.

Posted by knight4led
I really don't understand the flip phone craze. And why is it still acceptable for a flip phone to have an external antenna? Surely they can fit that in there.

Posted by ether42
i hate flip phones i think i'm going to break the phone in half all the time
that is why my 910 has no flip so i don't break it

Posted by Residentevil
Flip phones are highly overrated. Must be because the person looks cool when he opens the phone.

Posted by knight4led
glad you all share my distaste for flip phones. I think they have become far too popular in the US as of late. I haven't come across a flip phone that I like the design of both inside and out. The Z800 comes closest, but I am not a huge fan of the button layout on flips and even less of a fan of Motos and Samsungs.

Long live the basic block phone shape.

Posted by Bammers
I actually like flip phones!

Posted by Residentevil
I think the Z600 is a great flip. My GF likes it a lot.

Posted by knight4led
I've never used the Z600 but I know its essentially the same as a T610. I personally think its uglier and bigger. I am not going to be persuaded to use a flip version of a phone I already have and like.

On another note, this thread needs a pick-me-up...

Did everyone else here see Sin City and enjoy it as much as me?

I found it even more entertaining because I grew up with the girl that played Miho. Funny to see people you knew in movies.

Posted by Residentevil
I have not seen Sin City, but I will watch it pretty soon. hopefully this weekend.

Posted by Malachi Constant
yes i went and saw sin city a few days ago. it was awesome, i really enjoyed it. i used to read the graphic novels by frank miller, and they did a great job of translating his style to the screen. i totally dug it!

Posted by Residentevil
I maybe see it tomorrow on my b-day.

Posted by knight4led
Happy B-Day Res. Hope you see this amazing movie.

Posted by Miss UK
