@calinica I'd say if you know Cingular provides service on cruise ships and you don't see the rates you want in the chart, then you should call them. That is the only way, and since they record your call, if they give you wrong info, you can complain later.

I got a partial refund on a bill because a Cingular rep told me that international text messages were free, but when I got my bill they weren't. I called back, complained, they found my old service call, listened and gave me a refund.

@knight4led,

Will If its like that then I wil give them a call then. Thanks

LOL! Only the US could have a shaved monkey as their leader! I love it! And the UK has the equivalent of the girl in "coming to America" who "cleans certain parts of the princes anatomy as our leader, who in turn has the bloke who ate all the pies as his right hand man!
Don't you just love politics!!!
I really want to move to the States, cheap everything!!!!

Who says they don't have one already.

I never quite understood the British Parliamentary Monarchy. Seems so strange to have such strict party discipline and to have a Queen with explicit powers who never uses them.

Posted by ADT0079
Whats up all just stopped by to say HI

Posted by Bammers
Parliamentary monarchy? No we have a monarchy who has absolute power, sort of. And a parliament who, allegedly, carries out the will of the people!!
If it was me I'd give the power to some creature from the zoo who looks vaguely human, seems to have worked for you lot after we let you have the country you now live in!LOL!

Shouldn't have taxed that tea so high.

And we don't drive on the wrong side of the road, you lot do!!
But thanks for inventing coca cola!
And giving us brits a good laugh when you try and run an election, and allegedly democratically too!LOL!

Still rather live in the states though, even though I would spend all my time teaching you how to talk properly and spell correctly!

Posted by ADT0079

Posted by ADT0079
@Bammers Please keep your rants to yourselfOr in the uk forums . As we Or just me don't go into the uk forum and start ranting about what i hate Or dislike about the uk. Thanks WANKER ;-) lol

Posted by Bammers
Oh dear someone with no sense of humour or bothered to read previous posts!
@ADTOO79 No sense of humour!! If you bothered reading up on your history you would find that in actual fact pretty much all your language, driving styles/road schemes, politics and history (except for the the native history, but you destroyed most of that) actually comes from the UK, therefore we DO drive on the correct side of the, talk properly and spell properly and can run a country democratically (most of the time) and btw dont call me names, maybe you should read my other posts you would find I actually like the states. Although I'm beginning to dislike some of the people. I won't bother calling you names because you probably wouldn't understand what I called you.

There is no proof whatsoever, that she wants to die. A nurse testified that she recognizes people. Mike here loving hubby did not give her any rehabilitation treatment. There are not pictures in the room and the windows are blocked from daylight. He wants her dead. He is a monster.

Posted by Bammers
cheers ether42!! Glad someone got my jokes! Was beginning to wonder about some peoples sense of humour, at least we over here can laugh at ourselves and our "government"!!
Been watching this little drama unfolding on our news over here. Not sure which I fall on this one. Think people should have the decision to end their life if they so wish, but she is hardly in a position to make that decision. It all comes down to the old question of how far should medicine go to sustain life and what sort of quality of life will the patient have? Would her quality of life improve ever? Is it right to keep her alive?

You guys are unbelievably lucky to be living in the USA, I dream of being able to live there, I mean, its great, I visit all the time.

I am definitely planning on moving asap, because the UK is only getting worse and worse. For me atleast.

See ya. Chazzer.

Posted by knight4led
I'm happy to be from the U.S. in general. Currently I am visiting Grenada and everytime I look around it makes me happy to know that I am just visiting.

I would be happy to live in most European or Australia though. Quality of life is pretty much the same in most of the cities in advanced countries these days. Just a difference of how much space you have and what language people speak.

Posted by Chazzer3
to be honest mate, I am also extremely fed up with fuel costs here, I mean to fill up my car it costs me:

£71.20 (average)

Thats $133.08

Ridiculous! Also, we have no seasons any more as this country is screwed!

Lucky you, I dream of living in America, maybe one day.....

Plus, the Green Card procedure confuses me, I mean, how I get a citizenship i don't know, is it a test? or something more simple? (i hope)

Hello America hows it going, im officially on hols yay ;-) .. Chazza I know how ya feel but it cant be that bad can it?

Posted by ether42
on the fact of fuel cost it is $2.16 usd per galon to get unleaded gas in my town up to three in chicago which is 1 hour away takes me 20 usd to fill up my car even though i hate it sometimes AMERICA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by ADT0079
@Chazz Seems anyone can get a green card Hear. @everyoneIt is time to put this forum behind me I wish everyone the best .

Posted by knight4led
Bye ADT

Posted by Residentevil
You are leaving for good?

Posted by Miss UK
Great another1 bites the dust :-(

Posted by Chazzer3
Yeah, bye ADT!

Anyway, I mean when I visit america, which I do often, (great fun), I get given a green card on the plane, but I mean, these seem to be limited or something, I dunno....

Anyway, where do you think is a good place to live in USA for kind of most things if you know what I mean, (City, (Work), Scenery, Fun, Seriousness, Signal!, etc), because I have mainly been looking at major areas, as in NYC, Chicago, LA, (San Andreas area in General, CA), etc etc.

I really dunno, but I don't even know when I would be moving anyway, it might be tomorrow, or I might not move for numerous years! I'll just have to wait and see!

Chazzer - (loves the USA)

Posted by Miss UK
California :-?;-) I dunno much about america but still :-) are u serious, u really wana move there eventually?

Posted by Bammers
I would to! Didnt like LA, but Florida was nice!!
Probably get shot doing the job I do though if I did it over there!!

Posted by Chazzer3
Lol, I really am not sure, but if this country continues as it is, it is not very good for me, my job, and my life style.

So, I mean, probably will eventually move, but also wanna start a family, don't know if LA, and Cali are the best places, except places like Bel Air, but then it gets very flashy and expensive lol!

Anyway, I am really not sure yet, but I am really considering it, and will probably move eventually. Another place that has come into being an option is Seattle, (Spelling?), and that is a nice area, visited once or twice, and alot more suburbs and stuff for children, whilst there still being a nice city etc.

Chazzer -

Posted by Residentevil
Happy Eastern to everybody.

Posted by knight4led
@Chazzer the Seattle/Tacoma area is beautiful and has lots of stuff to do. I wouldn't mind living there myself. I am partial to California though. The climate in Southern California is just so good, especially in areas like Ventura or Santa Barbara. Don't rule out places like LA or San Diego though, great places to live in my opinion.

Posted by Chazzer3
@Knight4led:

In the southern CA area, San Diego as you mentioned, are there also many places for Families, such as suburbs etc, as I am still very keen on Cali, (climate, as you say!), but I know that Seattle has great areas for children/families etc....?

But I am certain that I want to move to the West Coast anyway!

Chazzer -

Posted by knight4led
There are plenty of suburbs in the LA area and in the San Diego area. I know lots of people that grew up there.

Posted by Bammers
Not overly keen on LA when I went there. However the further out from the centre you go the nicer it seems to be! Like most major cities I suppose, nasty in the centre, nicer towards the outskirts. And the weather is fantastic. Do like parts of Florida as well though.
And of course with California (and the States in general) you've got all the funny things they do to amuse us Brits! I really feel like moving there! Question is, would I get shot if I did my job over there?? And could I carry as well?

Posted by knight4led
what is your job?

and by carry I assume you meen a gun, if so, you need a special permit to carry one and a different permit for a concealed weapon.

Posted by Bammers
Counter Fraud Officer
And yes I did mean that!
Sure it can't be that dangerous everywhere, when I was in LA I nearly made a turn into Compton one time, then thought better of it and went the long way round!LOL!

Posted by hyperdude
Counter fraud officer .... sounds exciting, but of which industry? Police? Bank?

Posted by Chazzer3
Counter Fraud Officer? Cooool, sounds interesting!

Anyway, do you guys like Pimp My Ride? its really cool, just watched the latest one with the Police Car, se3e4! its awesome!

L8r Awesome American Dudes, plus others, who just dream of living in USa, (like me!)
