@Res I have bank of america Debit/Visa do you think they will take that as a credit card??????

Hey guys hows youz.. AD I use PayPAL, no problems sending money but recieving it is total crap :-x .. Sold myphone 2wks ago money was sent from buyer but that cash has not gone into my bank account im getting so angry :-(
Posted by ADT0079
Wow,I hope it only takes the 3-4 days to get it back from paypal...
I dont know i confirmed my address and Paypal Showed my home address was Confirmed and i used that address for the shipping address on the phone but under the pay pal statement where it shows transactions history it stilled showed it unconfirmed for the phone and case....So I tried with them and will try a diffrent pay method next time.......There is another Site that Res linked onto here that had P900 for 499.99 so i'm gonna check into that once this money gets back into my account....
Posted by Residentevil
As long as you got the Visa logo on your Debit card you can use it like a credit card. With the difference, that the money goes away right away when you charge it. So that would put you at an disadvantage in a warranty issue.
Posted by knight4led
thats totally crap, I wish you the best of luck in getting a new phone soon. I had a similar problem with my camera. When I ordered it they said it was in stock, I heard nothing for several days, called them and found out it was backordered. They didn't expect any more for 6 weeks. So I bought it for slightly more from another place and it arrived today.

Sony DSC-P100
5.1 MP
Its so much smaller than my old Olympus, and it uses Memory Stick Pro, so I've been using an adaptor and putting my 512 Pro Duo in it, then putting it back in my P910 and emailing pics to people.
Posted by Residentevil
Congrats. That is the same thing I do with my DSC-P120 and my P900. Only I use ms duo.

Posted by knight4led
You are a few months late for election talk right now. The democratic party needs a huge refresher course on organization tactics and grass roots campaigning. If we can't figure that stuff out we will never beat the Republicans in an election, they are just too well organized.

The problem of the NBA players is the following: If I were coach I would tell them: Keep your dicks in check.!
Posted by knight4led
@Res, thats never gonna work. I don't think anyone rich and famous will ever accept that someone knows what is good for them other than themselves. Even if they did accept it, I doubt they would heed the advice.
Posted by Residentevil
your are correct, because their egos are so big as well as their head, that they barely fit through the door anymore. See Shaq/Kobe. However, who won the NBA title in 1998? the Chicago bulls. The team won it not an individual. So when a player steps on the field his goal should be asking himself "What can I do this moment to be the greatest asset to the team". Not how do I look good today? If a coach could inspire his players that way there would be tremendous power available. Saying keep your D's in check would be also part of it, because if you screw up like Kobe, then that would be bad for the team.
See the Portland Trail Blazers: They were screwing up big time. It affected the team. they did not make the playoffs and just recently another Mr. smartypants showed up in court for dog fights. Portlanders are fed up with them and they are losing interest. Meaning less revenue you can see where that is going.
Posted by knight4led
you are right about the 98 bulls, but the coach thing just doesn't have any impact because it was the same coach for the 98 Bulls and the Lakers while Kobe and Shaq were playing. Coaches only ever have control of their players while they are on the court. Its up to the owner to keep payers in check or send them packing. If a payer can't figure out theat he will alienate his fans and ruin his team, them I say let him do it and lets forget about him.
I used to love professional sports, but one by one I stop watching them because of missed seasons, scandals, too much trading/expanding. Now I pretty much only watch college sports, which are more exciting anyway.
Posted by Residentevil
Same reason I stopped watching the olympics.
Posted by knight4led
I just can't bring myself to enjoy watching arrogant jerks get paid millions to play games that normal people play anyway.
Posted by ADT0079
yeah but do us normal people play it as well and do we make it as entertaining....I still agree there over priced @ssholes But i cant stop watching sports...I dont watch baseball or basketballl ,but love to watch football and hockey
Posted by Residentevil
I would not mind if the were behaving like professionals on and off the court. MJ did a pretty good job at that.
Posted by knight4led
I still love hockey, but there is no hockey season this year. I was gonna go to a few Sharks games because my friend lives right next to the HP pavillion. I was really disappointed.
Posted by Miss UK
Noooo Back to work in less than 9hours
Posted by knight4led
work doesn't sound all that exciting
Posted by ADT0079
Yeah i want to see my lighting defend there stanley cup but that wont happen..I went to game 5 of the semi finales lighting and islanders
Posted by Residentevil
Too bad there is no hockey season this year. All because someone wants 5.1mil instead of 5mil. You poor thing.?

Sorry RES i disagree hockey players Are the least paid players in american sports and imo is the most physical sport in america so i think they deserve more money .instead of some owner who sits back and watches. Hockey is the only sport that i agree with the players on strike.
Posted by Residentevil
You are right, they are not paid as well as other prof. sports. However, many prof sports are very physical. With lacking TV deals etc. Hockey depends on fans and tickets, the fan base. With striking nobody wins and the fan base shrinks. So I blame the owners, too. See here:
http://www.nonhlstrike.com/petition.htm
Posted by knight4led
I think the NHL was finally increasing its fanbase and this strike will without a doubt work to shrink that fanbase for years to come. With any professional sports strike or disagreement I agree that the fans are the ones that lose in the end, but we have to remember that they don't just play for our amusement. Professional sprorts are both a BUSINESS for the owners and a PROFESSION for the players. We can't lose site of both of those facts. Given the short working life of an athlete and the considerable damage done to their bodies in that time, I don't really think they are paid too much. I think owners are stingy and fans are fickle. Thats just how it goes though.
Posted by amagab
Yes, it's bad for hockey but you can't put a cap on salaries. They are paid market wages and so should it be. It should also be considered how many bangs to the head and life threatening injuries they get.
Another bad thing about this strike is that European got less exciting with all these NHL players wanting to show off back in Europe.
Posted by ADT0079
I dont think it will hurt hockey to much because your hockey fan base is alot stronger meaning that most hockey fans are devote hockey fans compared to seeing all these Ads with football players your going to get more people that are in it for the glory....If that made any sense
Posted by Residentevil
A standard contract is only $125,000 a year can you believe that. LIttle money for getting beat up and needing painpills to get up in the morning after you turn 40.
Posted by knight4led
As you can see there is a good reason for the strike. Just have to wait for new season, hopefully I will still be in the US at that time.
