oh hell yeah! as soon as the s700 comes out i'm gonna be the first in line. my contract runs out in october too. that's something that i like about socal, we seem to be ahead of the game compaired to the rest of the country when it comes to computers, cell phones and other electronics.

dude you don't have to buy it from tmob, in fact i'd advise against it. go to a cell phone shop and get it from there. you can still get it under contract and everything. it will probably come unlocked like the t616 did. if not, just the same shop do it or another for $25. i got my hook-up down here
i bet that like down here, there's a butt load of shops in L.A.

I would advise against the T616(850/1800/1900). The true GSM freq.are 900/1800/1900. Att and cingular run those. I would go with the T610 (900/1800/1900). There are some places on the globe where only 900 is available, but if you use it mostly in the US you are fine. The lower freq are better quality.

Hey this is an odd question, but they sell this thing that allows you to use two sim cards in one phone. I was wondering if anyone in america's tried this yet with their phone. I've got t mobile at the moment but I was thinking about trying it out with like at&t prepaid or something to see if it would work.

@tess- yeah, but it has to be all from the same wireless operator. The SIM splitter allows you to have 2 totally diff. SIM cards. (like a prepaid from t-mobile and one regular one from AT&T).
