Its just a weird easter egg. It means nothing. If you go inside the Statue of Happiness, and climb to the top, you find this massive beating heart inside of it.

Anyways am lovin this game!!!! and upto now (am at 34% complete) not one freezing issue or any type of issue on the ps3 version i have

Well the beating heart easter egg wasn't really worth it lol. I shot it with a barrage of weapons (inc rocket launcher) thinking that may do something. Killed myself with the explosion from the RL. lol.

Ok, don't get me wrong, this game is fantastic, but im surprised no one mentioned this..
the songs on the radio damn suck. I know its all about taste, but most are just so damn bad, and there seem to be thousands of comercials. The only songs I seem to be listning to are the Bob Marley ones.
In Vice City and San Andreas I thought it had great soundtracks. 200 songs in GTA 4? In my opinon this is a great example of quality not quantity.
Look at SA, even though I dislike hip hop, as you took the charachter of a black gangster, radio los santos really made you feel as if you were CJ and you enjoyed it that much more, it also had a varied taste. In Vice City each station fitted the place so well. But there is none of that in GTA 4. The stations suck. Looking through the soundtrack, I hardly know any of the artists and the songs are just plain awful.
In my opinon the songs are a let down to a fantastic game

@Kingbooker5, I firmly agree, the radio blows. that is why I have a set of bluetooth speakers sitting next to me cranking some metal to make it all worth while. noting like going on a rampage while listening to some Slipknot.
My stange little complaint and question is what the hell am I going to do with all the money. I have about 350,00 dollars all the ammo and clothes I can carry.

I agree with you with some of the stations, like whose idea was it to put Ne-Yo in??? That song is crap. And I don't find I listen to what the radio is actually playing very much, unlike previous titles. I also find it harder to hear over the car noise (I suppose I can change that in settings though).
One station that I really like is Radio Broker though. None of the commercial music trash you find on some of the other stations, plus it has one of the best songs by one of my favourite bands, Unkle. Also, I like how they chucked in a Smashing Pumpkins song on Liberty Rock.

I fully agree with you aswell Booker, the only good station is integrity 2.0 but that only lasts like 10 minutes then loops itself. Liberty rock radio is ney bad but the rest are terrible (N)
Does anyone think they'll get the under 30 hours achievement ? Im 20 missions off with 5 hours left its not looking hopeful

It's slowly going up though, a lot of my journeys involve the long straight bridges so I can tear down them in my Porsche-look alike at full speed.
Mind you, it goes up by only like 0.2mph each time.

It's 30h human time, it's not too hard, I didn't even try to do it, I just happened to do it, so someone trying to do it under 30h should do it between 25-28 I recon.
I'm going for 100% completion now, on about 80% at the moment and got about 370gs.

The trick is to reload your save game everytime you die. Sure its a bit more annoying to go from your safehouse again, but it means you don't add any unnecessary time to your completion. If you looked at my stats, it says I have never died, never been arrested, and never failed a mission.

Looks like I'll easily make the 30 hour achievement. I'm pretty sure I'm onto the very last mission and I've got 2 hours to do it. Trouble is, its a bitch of a mission. I can get to the building, take out everyone, drive along with the bike, but I keep hitting the jump wrong and f***ing it up at what seems like the last part of the mission. Its so extremely frustrating! I feel like chucking my controller through the window!
EDIT: Ok I did it easy that time. And man the credits are long!
So how do I get this 30 hour achievement business? Nothing came up after the credits or anything...
EDIT#2: Oh I just found out what achievements are... Well I would have got it easily if I had an XBox 360. Too bad I have a PS3.

I've done pretty much all of them, just need to meet a few more random people, get 100 more pigeons and do the stunt jumps...then i'm 100%
Not sure if i'll bother getting the online achievements as one of them is just crap, you have to kill a rockstar employee player, what the hell are the chances of that!
Don't see why they bothered putting that as one, as people trying to get the full 1000 points will be out of luck.
I like the achievements only because they make the game longer, I normally wouldn't bother going and looking for everything, but I am because I want the points, has added an extra 15 odd hours so far.

Haha, not that I don't think my PS3 is awesome.
I have nothing against the 360 though, I almost bought one because its almost half the price, but decided to get the PS3.
Yeah I'll be starting all the side missions next. Those random people you meet are odd. Especially the first one I did that just gave me $100 randomly. I have to get all the pigeons and jumps too, I like to save them for after I've done all the main storyline missions.

BACK ON TOPIC: I have to admit..i see all you people chatting about how far you've reached but my addiction with this game is over..i'm at 32% and i honestly don't miss playing this...main quirk..the missions are far too repetitive and lack variety unlike the past GTA's..am looking forward to other games now..maybe Saints Row 2 will bring me back to this open world action genre...but GTA 4..this one's on a long hiatus as far as i'm concerned.

I played it for about 2-3 days when it came out, then didn't touch it for a week, then done another 1-2 days then left it for another week, just couldn't get into it.
Now, for the past 4 days or so, i've been playing it allll day, got nothing better to do

^yeah..the motivation to complete missions just went away during my final days with this GTA..only way i can go through the single player completely now is by using cheats which..honestly..i hate to try out...
