@ tempsonyfreak, i dont remember, i know i used a Clover (the one that has 2 colours for a paint job, looks like the Dukes of Hazzard car) on one of those races. They're all really easy IMO.
You just have to cut corners to win. I only ever found about 3 of the missions in the game difficult, the rest were easy.
My favourite vehicles are the Turismo (for speed), the Elgy for general transport, the Sanchez (dirt bike) for generally getting around quickly and the Monster, Vortex and Rhino.
The Harrier jump jet is the fastest method of transport however, downtown San Fierro to Grove Street in 30 seconds !

You get it after doing some of the missions. You have to go on board the military aircraft carrier and steal one. Once you have, and fought off the other planes you get to keep it.
Is nobody going to try landing on the big point building ?

I'm gonna start playing it again tomorrow. I want to get the police uniform ( by getting 100% with the policewoman girlfriend ) so i can get in the military bases without being shot at.

@etaab,Read my posts man,San Andreas broke my Ps2 two weeks after its release date and has taken a few months to play properly in my bro's Ps2. Wierd i know,but its playin ok atm :-D

Im currently at something like 87%, ive done pretty much everything apart from take part in the race tournaments, so i cant see what will make up the other 13%.

Like all other GTA games, even SA gets boring when all the missions have been completed.
Now i just spend my time wandering the streets..

u can only go in2 very few shop but wen u do find them u just walk up 2 the counter lock on to the person behind the counter then money appers on the counter BUT the longer u hold the shop up the more police u will get waiting outside 4 u!lol

Well what i said worked for me,and i was hitting it bang on for 2 weeks without success. I know i got rhythm too,i used to be a fookin mix Dj :-) it must differ from game to game altho i dont play it now,my ps2 wont let it :-(

You dont even need to get it perfectly in the middle of the circle to get a good rating, which allows you to pass the missions. Half way in or out of the circle gives you a pass too, not just dead centre.
If you find that hard, then i assume you must have some disability or medical problem concerning reaction times. Maybe its time to stop doing drugs ?
There are no "trainers" that pass the mission for you, that would be ridiculous !

Because they arent. They're just GTA games based on the same GTA game engine, not actual sequels of GTA3 at all.
Rockstar have said GTA 4 will come out on the PS3.

Mystery screenshot purportedly of next Grand Theft Auto hits the web
A screenshot supposedly revealing the first glimpse of Rockstar's next-gen version of the biggest gaming franchise in the world, Grand Theft Auto, has been exposed.
The shot, pictured right, depicts a typical GTA-esque landscape featuring a large apartment building in the background, pedestrians to shoot at and, of course, cars to steal.
Scant details accompanied the picture when it was first posted on French website Jeux-France late yesterday, but they did reveal some interesting and unusual suggestions.
As well as predicting a first showing on PlayStation 3, the website suggested that the game would soon come to other next-gen consoles due to "online possibilities".
What this actually means is anyone's guess, but we like to think that the next GTA will have some kind of MMORPG-type element to it.
Jeux-France also claimed that the game will be six times larger than San Andreas, with 350 different cars, and would see players having to administrate fuel levels in the cars they drive.
Most odd though was a suggestion that, when literally translated, said the game would introduce a "system of creation of animals". No, we don't have any idea either... perhaps you breed dogs?
Naturally, when asked, Rockstar declined to confirm or deny the image's authenticity, unsurprisingly choosing to play the 'no comment' card.

Im not saying this is true or i believe this but i would just like to say that we are expecting this sort of quality anyway,roll on the Ps3!

They did that in Mafia, and it completely did not work. Everytime you took another car it was often low on fuel and ran out usually during a police chase.

Do anything that appears on the radar.
You also need to do all the ambulance, fire, police etc stuff, aswel as take part in events like the beach dirt bike tournament, and the events at the Hymen stadium.
To rob shops, walk in and target the guy behind the counter. Hold the target on him until he starts giving you money. After about 3 or 4 stars appear on your felony it wont go any higher, and you will have robbed the shop successfully.
