From HowardChui:
One common complaint people have about camera phones is that they
all take lousy pictures. The main reason is due to the fact that camera phones have very small lenses and small imaging sensors. Nokia and Canon hope to address this problem with the new 3650 Digital Rebel. The 3650 Digital Rebel blends Nokia's proven Series 60 user interface with Canon's camera expertise. It features a Canon 6.3 megapixel CMOS sensor with Canon's exclusive DIGIC image processing chip, 2" 65k TFT colour screen, bluetooth and Xpress-on Colour Covers.
Nokia and Canon are also announing the first lenses specifically designed for the 3650 Digital Rebel, the new EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 SP lens with built-in speakerphone. The 3650 Digital Rebel is compatible with over 50 EF and EF-s mount lens, EX series speedlights and pop port headsets.
My initial impressions are that the 3650 Digital Rebel is big. Far bigger than my old Nokia 9290 communicator. Keep this phone in your pants pocket and you'll definitely be a hit with the ladies. It also takes some getting used to switching between phone mode and camera mode. As far as compatiblity goes it works great with my collection of Canon EF lenses and my Nokia pop port headsets. Stay tuned for a complete review.
