Hi guys been reading the antics on this forum for ages but at last decided to join. Just a quick question. Currently I have a Nokia 6600 and its cool but not quite up to scratch as something like a P900 (I love the idea of mp3 playback and using it as a ringtone). I really want to buy one but the only thing stoppoing me is its size. Is it too large to put in your pocket?

It easily fits the pocket m8.

Not much different to the 6600 to be honest with ya.

cheers mate. anyone have any comments about its size?

Ever try putting a 7650 in your pocket? The p900 is slimmer.

Mine has never been a problem, size-wise.

It may not be a comfortable fit in your jeans pocket, but it goes in a jacket pocket (suit or otherwise) with no problem.

I seem to have resorted to carrying it in my hand lately though, as the jacket I usually wear has sort of horizontal pockets that it could fall from.

P9 fits perfectly. However, I use the p8 cover.

It isn't a case of size, its really all down to what you can do with it ...

Mine fits.

Well, I cary mine in the case that follows, which makes it a bit hard to fit in your jeans pocket, but it works. If you carry it without any case I'm guessing there wont be any problem at all...

I would like to offer a logical, systemizing hypothesis. The p900 fits in your hand. Your hand fits in your pocket. It follows then, that the p900 shall fit in your pocket.

hey, just my 2 cents worth... I carry my p900 in my jeans pocket when i have them on, and my jeans are pretty tight, they are Diesel Industrie jeans and tight, phone still fits fine

on a serious note if all you want a p900 for is to play mp3s dont bother get the mp3 player for 7650 and a 256mmc

i own both a 6600 and a p900. size difference is minimal really. from experience, i found mp3 player for 7650/3650/6600 was useless. p900 much better!

only own 6600 when im out drinking as not concerned with losing nokia!

What if you have very tiny hands?

Mine fits.

it fits perfectly. and if you want to travel light, you can take the flip off. your nokia.... put that in the pocket with the hole in it ;-)

U need a baggy pants w a large pocket

Fits well in my jeans, will never fit into tight jeans, but thats where the supplied p900 case comes in handy (on the belt) at times i feel that you need to keep it in a case and in the pocket so the p800 case is the best for me!

It fits no problem, much better than carring a PDA and phone by any standards. Get a pen stylus from doml.com and you can reduce stuff in your pockets by not carrying a biro too.

Thanks guys for all your replies. Been a great help. I used to have a 7650 but thought it was definitely too large. It would fit in my pocket but the fact that I could feel it there annoyed me. The reason I want a P900 is so I can watch movies on it, play mp3's, play games and use all the other features also. AND it saves me from buying an ipod right now (I really want one but after I get it I know I'll still want the phone!).

Ive tried to play mp3's on my 6600 and the sound is absolutely awful. The only good thing about it is the camera. ive taken the best fotos when out at pubs with mates. Its really good in low light conditions. Lets hope the P900 is just as good!

dont get an ipod they suck (poor sound quality, short battery life, prone to theft), get an iriver ihp-120 or 140

p800 in my pocket. since the p900 is the same size i can say its quite comfortable but if you want to get it out its abit of a struggle if your sitting down, even worse when your driving!!

what a lovley pocket shot, i think we should start a new topic.
