T 610 Irda disconnects from my pc.

I have a T610 and a T68i. With the T68i there are no problems in sending faxes and gprs connection via ir and notebook (with Win II Ed.) but my new T610 has this problem: it works perfectly with my pda Casio Cassiopeia but when aligned with my pc's irda after a while loses contact and the communication drops....
What to do? Does it depend on a sort of time out setting in the internal irda? Or what?
